Kaede A867444 is an 11-year-old tan and white female who has oral cancer and needs rescue placement so she can enjoy what time she has left in luxury! She and her buddy Cedar were abandoned at the shelter. She’s housed with other dogs, friendly with people and food motivated.
Unico A867813 is a 12 year old spayed doxie/chi mix who also really needs out! She’s got a lump on her neck and is being treated for a cough. She’s a nice little gal who enjoyed hanging out with the other senior dogs and desperately needs placement!
Cedar A867443 who arrived with Kaede is a 12-year-old red male chihuahua. He is missing quite a few teeth and will likely need the remaining ones extracted. He’s an active guy for his age!
Oren A867814 is a tan and gray 9 year old male chi/doxie mix who is a little timid at first with new people. He is housed with other dogs and prefers lower-energy dogs.

Looking for rescue for two Parson Russell terriers.
First, we have Chubby A865460 14 yrs. young. Chubby came to the shelter due to his owner passing away. Next of kin stated that Chubby has cancer but as we don’t have vet records, we can’t verify. Looking for rescue placement to live out the rest of his life not in a kennel.
Next is Spike A673428 10 yrs. old that came in as a stray and never was redeemed. As you can see in the video below, he loves to give kisses. Allows all handling.

Frito Needs Rescue! Sacramento, CA
Five month old Frito (A863685) is a female pup who is being treated for hairloss. She was very shy when she first arrived and we suspect that she has hearing impairment due to previous ear infections. We're hoping that she will regain hearing as she matures, but only time will tell.
Frito has really blossomed and is showing her loveabale side with people and she's learning to dog with social adult pooches! The shelter is no place for this unique kiddo and she would love a a rescue to spring her from the crowded shelter! Molley 6 yr. old beagle mix A863412, and her adorable 6 puppies need out of the shelter. They are 4 -5 weeks old owner surrenders. Mom was very protective of her babies but once shelter staff earned her trust, she is eager to be handled as seen in the video below. Once in the yard with staff she enjoys playing and snuggling with staff.

Come meet 3 seniors that need rescue placement!
First, we have Friend Bear A860292 estimated at 10 yrs. old husky girl. She came into the shelter 5/28/24 weighing around 40 pounds. She was reported to have had a seizure. But none have been reported since then.
She is a quiet gal but has spunk and enjoys playing with other dogs and staff. She is in desperate need of rescue placement as the shelter is overflowing with dogs and 4th July is coming.
Ozzy Osbourne A750404 is a 9 yr. old Cocker spaniel mix. He gets along with puppies and dogs. But he seems to not enjoy being handled by staff that are male. But female staff have had no problems with picking him up, or petting.
Charles Xavier A750404 is a 10 yr. old chihuahua mix (7 pounds) He does need a dental. He can be a bit shy with being picked up by strangers. But once he knows you it isn’t a problem. Ozzy has been housed with other dogs and seems to be fine.
