Bub A870607 💜💜
Came to the shelter unable to walk and in pain. Veterinary staff have done blood work and x-rays. The 16-week-old kitten showed calcium deficiency in his X-rays but no fractures. After 3 weeks the kitten seems to have improved. Doesn’t seem to painful and allows me to pick him up and purrs. He starts to play and is almost standing on his own. He has come a long way. So let’s help him!
Our Veterinary believes he could make a full recovery, it will just take some time. As we are a shelter and we need a rescue to believe in Bub and give him a chance and give this loving kitten the TLC he needs.

We have a cat that will be going to a wonderful cat sanctuary and needs transport. It can transport Tuesday – Friday and they open at 1 pm.
As always if you are an established volunteer with us, you may take a shelter van to transport, If you aren’t a volunteer we can request money to help with the cost of the gas.

The first two seniors came in together as confiscate abandoned.
💜 Louise A870891 is 15 yr old tan and white Chihuahua with senior medical issues of dog her age. She is very affectionate with staff and volunteers and enjoys hanging out with her sister Sabrina.
💜 Sabrina A870890 is also 15 yr old brown. She has more and more medical going on than her sister. But she is eating and trotting around the yards when out with her besties.
💜 Buffy A871262 is a 12 yr old poodle that might have sight issues but still figures out how get around and find pets fom staff . She is also part of her lower jaw missing (possible from previous periodontal disease.) This is why her tongue hangs out.

Meet little Sharknado A870336 16-week-old Patterdale mix with skin issues. She got her name because when trying to make a video she was so happy to be out of kennel she just ran around in circles for 30 min.
The poodle mix in this video has already \found placement.

At 13 years old, Kola has seen a lot in his life. He may be a senior, but his spirit is as vibrant as ever. With a heart full of love, he craves connection and is always eager to engage with those around him. Kola is a gentle giant, known for his playful nature and his love of belly rubs. He embodies the resilience that comes with time, reminding us all that joy can be found no matter the circumstances.
Kricket, his devoted sister, is 11 years old and has a calm demeanor that perfectly complements Kola's playful energy. While she may take a little longer to warm up, once she does, her affection knows no bounds. Kricket has stood by Kola’s side through thick and thin, offering him comfort and companionship throughout their journey. She is a testament to the bond that can only exist between siblings, and together, they have faced life's challenges head-on.
Now, they are ready for a fresh start — a chance to find their forever home where they can enjoy the simple pleasures of life: a cozy bed, a warm meal, and the love of a family who understands their unique needs.
Their time at the shelter has only strengthened their bond, and we believe that these two deserve to live out their golden years together, free to explore the world around them, surrounded by love and care.

Puppy Pretzel A870704 desperately needs a rescue hero to give him a chance at life! This male German shepherd pup is estimated to be about 4-5 months old and the buddy he came in with has been adopted. Pretzel has a unique gait, and his legs look unusual. Our vet team has done x-rays, lab work and there is no concrete diagnosis. It could be due to inflammatory bone disease, dwarfism, or disproportionate puppy growth. X-rays did not show any abnormalities in his bones. Despite his condition, Pretzel is 100% an active, happy-go-lucky puppy who loves people and enjoys playing with other doggies! We have two XL-breed dogs that we are looking for rescue placement!
Cora A869341 Is Cane Corso 1 year old. She came to the shelter afraid of her own shadow. But I really can’t blame her as this place is lot of scary smells and noises.
Staff worked with her and she just wants to be a lap dog. Cora has been with other dogs in yards but doesn’t really engage with them and shows no aggression.
Cora is up for adoption to an experienced adopter.
Tiny Gladiator A868192 is a 2yr old mastiff that came in with unla/ fracture to front left paw. Cage rest is no way to splint a dog of this size paw.
Tiny G acts like a huge puppy with staff and other dogs. He is very dog-savvy and has a hard time sitting in a kennel alone at the shelter. He would love to be at home with other dogs and people,
Tiny Gladiator is up for adoption but it’s he has been here a month and a half.
