Elliot update: fully recovered! He's thriving since he's stayed with the British moms. I even added his siblings to the Cheddarbear litter as well. Prada didn't want to nurse often and wasn't cleaning the kittens well either. This is super unusual for her so I decided to remove her entirely and allow her to rest. This could mean the litter was too big for her or she's getting close to retirement age. As you can see in the video, Elliot is so confident. He reminds me of a young Bo. #ragdoll #kittens

Okay, HEAR ME OUT Remember these tips the next time you have a biting kitten. 1) Always redirect with toys, a few minutes of play time can go along way to wearing out your playful kitten. 2) Immediately remove your hand if your kitten is aggressively biting and try a much slower & calmer approach. Definitely read your kitty's body language if they don't want to be touch somewhere. 3) LIGHTLY bat your kitten on the nose if they try to bite you. This is best accompanied with a sound, do not yell. I like to use "Shhhhhhttttt".4) This tip has worked extremely well for me. I used to use it on my litters of Aussies! When your kitty tries munching on your hand, use a finger and stick it in their mouth. This usually makes them gag and they give you the stink eye. You can resume petting, but if they try hand biting you again, repeat a few times till they get the message. This one has been a super fast and easy solution for me so now my super playful kittens decide to lick my fingers instead. 😁#playfulcat #kittykitty #ragaliciousragdolls
A boy more snuggly, out going and like a puppy than his mother. Bordeaux aka Bo continues to amaze me with his heart for people. ♥️. Today, an elderly couple came to pick up a piece a furniture. They waited in my hallway as I went to get the item. When I came back Bo was in her arms licking her face and purring madly. She asked super hopeful, "How much, how much??" 🥹💔I am not surprised, but I kinda am! I *thought* I already had super cuddly ragdolls, but Bo has taken it to next level the moment he was born. ♥️ I never intended to keep a boy related to my other keepers, but after a breeder friend passed on him, I knew he had to stay. 🥳🎉#ragdoll #bluebicolor #blueeyes
