Just got an email from a biology corp. looking for 2000 pregnant rats that kids can dissect in schools. I'm horrified. I mean, I know this s!@ # happens but it infuriates me. Can't kids learn some other way??? When will people finally see rats as precious, sentient beings?? They are not disposable creatures for chrissakes.

☝🏻Please note☝🏻This event is mostly informational, we won’t have adoptable rats there, but you will have a chance to meet with volunteers and our ambassador rats to ask questions and learn about pet rat care. Questions about socializing rats, neutering, health issues, keeping the cage clean, product recommendations, etc are all welcome!
