Our newest collection of merchandise. Helps myself and the team help care for service dogs and provide service dogs to disabled individuals who wouldn't be able to afford them. Likewise, all profits go back to helping get the dogs all their necessary veterinary care and pet insurance.
All graphics & artwork are designed by myself, the trainer behind GFBDT. If you could like a custom peas of merch, please PM me, and I can make you a pace of art to go on your shirt or mug to make an extra special gift.

Puppy socialization doesn't have to be hard. Sometimes, it means taking advantage of new things around you like turkeys... LOL ๐
Or exposing your puppy to new smells and the difficulty of food puzzles.

I'm currently training a client's dog with a half-ball for future position placement, employing marking and rewarding techniques to reinforce the desired behaviors.
So, what's the short version of the process?..
- Step 1: For dogs, just learning lure the dog into the desired position or for trained dogs issue the command
- Step 2: Use the marker word.Use a marker word like "Good" to signal that your dog has done the right thing.
- Step 3: Reward your dog with a treat.

Today, Domino went on his first outing out and about to the pet-friendly feed store. To explore, smell, and learn the world is not a scary place but an awesome thing full of positive experiences. And to learn, he can trust his handler a litter more... in this case, today, that was me. We switch between myself, my apprentice, and our foster to ensure he does not get attached to one person and can not bond with his new/life-long handler at the end of training.
I will be writing a post soon on how we can do this without messing up his training.
Welcome to our service dog training program, Domino.
Domino will be training with our program for approximately the next 12 months.
We are unsure what type of service dog he will become, but he shows great promise to become a multi-purpose service dog. but only time will tell.
Just another video of my pup and I training, lol... ๐
