Apollo - the red dobie, would much rather sleep in my lap while I work at my computer than play with his friends
Marlee - the cremello and Apollos little sister, loves playing with her friends but definitely comes and checks in for some attention
Dakota - black dobie I had last week was such a nervous girl and wanted nothing more than to have a hand on her at all times.

This weekend is FULL!! Full of fun and chaos!! I dont normally take on this many dogs, but because I know the temperament of all of them as all but 1 are regulars, it makes it easy to make sure everyone gets plenty of attention and exercise when they can be split into two groups! Meet the boarders:
- Loki 3 year old GSD I've been watching since he was just under a year old
- Apollo, 2 year old Dobie that I have watched a few times
- Marlee, 1 year old dobie I have watched when she was just 4 months old
- caramel, 16 year old chi who ive watched several times
- mochi, 1 year old terrier mix, new addition to caramels family that I have watched a couple times
- Butters, 1 year old frenchie who is a regular as well and watched the owners previous frenchie who has since passed way.
- Benny 1 year old lab who is a new boarder and is doing so well for his first time away from home with a stranger!

Meet Luca. A 5 year old highly anxious chocolate lab. This guy has been kicked out of literally every daycare and boarding facility he's been in from big corporate to private in home facilities. His mom said the last place only lasted 15 minutes. He is NOT a bad dog. He is super sweet and just busy. Today is a "test run" to see if he would be a good fit for boarding in the future. He will be coming a few times a week to learn the routines here to better prep for an over night stay.

At Barkingham Manor Sacramento, CA, we understand every dog has different needs. Luca is a good boy who just needs a facility that understands he is a little anxious is all. And I am happy to have him!

The Beginning

I grew up absolutely loving animals. As an adult, I finally got my chance to work with animals at a spay and neuter clinic in a local shelter. I worked as a receptionist for a couple of years then moved to the back where I worked as a technician. I currently work very part time at a full service veterinary office in West Sacramento. I started my pet sitting business in October of 2019 and love every minute of it. I really enjoy having new pets come and visit. You will never have to worry about your pet not being taken care of while in my care. I provide LOTS of photos to ensure your pet is having fun and being well taken care of.
