I’m happy to announce that our puppies got their BAER testing today and they ALL have perfect bilateral hearing !!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 , for those who don’t know this test is to see if electrical activity as the brain receives the auditory stimulus of sound. Dalmatians are predisposed to having congenital deafness , this is why every Dalmatian breeder MUST BAER test their puppies to ensure all their puppies have hearing before placing them in their forever homes . Although deafness is something a breeder can face in a litter no puppies are ever disposable, it takes a really special family to care for a special deaf baby and we do carefully look for homes for all of our puppies .
