Chanel’s journey has been nothing short of incredible. Chanel got out of the yard in her home in Texas in late 2024, she somehow made her way to Sacramento, where she was recently surrendered to Bradshaw Animal Shelter. Thanks to her microchip, our team was able to track down her rightful owner, Christina, who had been searching for her beloved pup for months.After a whirlwind effort, Chanel and Christina were reunited! With the help of Sarah who fostered Chanel until she could reunite with her family and a Good Samaritan who covered Christina’s travel, Chanel is now on her way back home to Texas, where she belongs. This story is a powerful reminder of why microchipping your pets is so important—it truly can make the difference between lost and found.We are beyond grateful for everyone who helped make this reunion happen.

This program ensures pets like Blue have a safe place to stay until they can reunite with their families.Since August 2024, Protective PAWS has helped 18 pets and 12 families. 🐕🐈 But we need your support to keep this program running!
