Meet Reyes (A871018), a 9-month-old German Shepherd puppy with a heart as big as his journey. After being struck by a car, Reyes has been bravely recovering in a loving foster home, where he's shown just how sweet, resilient, and affectionate he can be.

Despite his initial shyness, Reyes is blossoming into a wonderful companion. He adores being close to his people, and he's even made friends with children, showing his gentle nature by accepting pets and sharing treats.

We were lucky to meet Honor and Paige, two young animal lovers with huge hearts! These amazing kids spent over two hours squeezing fresh oranges and lemons from their own trees to make lemonade and orange juice. They sold their drinks at a stand and used the proceeds to buy toys and food for our shelter cats and dogs. 🐾🍋🍊

Yesterday, thanks to TEAM Bradshaw, the incredible teamwork of our Bradshaw Animal Shelter staff, volunteers, and the amazing team at Auburn Spay and Neuter, 50 cats received their spay and neuter surgeries! 🐾

This effort started bright and early at 5 a.m., with three dedicated staff members preparing and loading the cats, followed by two wonderful volunteers driving them to their appointments. Later that afternoon, two more volunteers safely brought them back home. This operation took over a week of preparation, and we couldn’t have done it without the collaboration of our team and the expertise and care provided by Auburn Spay and Neuter. 💕

Spaying and neutering is a critical step in reducing pet overpopulation and decreasing the number of animals in shelters. It also provides significant health benefits, such as reducing the risk of certain cancers and infections, while promoting better behavior in pets. By addressing the root cause of overpopulation, we can ensure a healthier and more compassionate future for animals in our community.

After losing their beloved owner, these seniors are looking for a loving home to spend their golden years. Kola (13) is a playful, gentle giant, and Kricket (11) has a calm and loving demeanor. Their bond is unbreakable, and their love is endless.

Kitten Fosters Needed ‼️ Another way to give big on Big Day of Giving is to give an animal a temporary home, also known as fostering! There are dozens of kittens who will need somewhere safe and warm to spend the next few weeks before they are ready for adoption!
