We only adopt out within the Sacramento Area. We only adopt to families within the Sacramento Region. We NEVER transport dogs because we make commitments to the dogs for life. We want to make sure, in as much as possible, that they do not end up back in shelters or homeless again. You can meet our animals at our adoption events, out side of those we REQUIRE an application be filled out prior to me
eting our dogs one-on-one (done as a home check). We do NOT adopt on a first come first serve basis, we want to make sure our dogs find the perfect family that suits their needs. If you are not selected for the dog you asked for, we may be able to help you find the right dog for you, your family, and your lifestyle.
Brie, living her best lazy dog life. She loves walks, men, snacks and pillows. Do not adopt unless you are content to have a beast snoring in your ear. She is pretty easy, only requiring some ear care but otherwise just a normal looking for a home.

Tiny T***sie wasn't acting right so we went to the vet where she was fine. Diagnosis: in heat so just lethargic. Canceled spay appt, and she is back to feeling better. She is so tiny (32 pounds) even thought she is a full grown She is energetic and social and waiting for a home of her own.

Brie thought we were going for a walk, instead we went to the vet for a recheck. Clearly she is annoyed. Her ears are getting better but not completely there yet. So I get to continue torturing her with ear meds.
Brie was off to the vet, because she has itchy ears. Medicated cleaners for a few weeks and hopefully she will be as good as new. Her first human passed away and she is still looking for someone to replace him. Her ideal owner would be a man, who spends most of his time doing nothing and then will take her for walkies on occasion (she is pretty lazy but get so excited for walkies). Frenchies are more prone to ear and skin issues. She is 3 and spayed and ready for a forever home.

Yesterday, T***sie Roll and K spent the day at Shriners Children's Northern California for an event which highlighted the work being done on the treatment of Spina Bifida and which we included the Canine Spina Bifida research project (as well as some others). Some people may not know but my day job is managing the research department so I always love being able to combine my work and passion.
The world's smallest (maybe not actually but she is Frenchie sized) is still looking for a home but she also needs more diapers and Bernie's perfect poo. K needs diapers and canned food as well. You can see their wish lists at: https://a.co/erWlIQc

Sacramento- Spice is your normal 4 month old puppy. She likes to play, get into nonsense with the other dogs, and she is waiting for her forever home. She is def showing her husky roots, baby gates mean nothing to her, but she is a great girl. We were told she was sight impaired when we took her but think that was fake news. One problem with a deaf dog, especially a wierd one, is that it is easier to lose them. This guy loves to play but he can sleep for a long time and in weird places. I was freaking out today when I realized he wasn’t in the normal spots. Luckily he snores pretty loud so I found him in the dog room. Laying in a bin with dog diapers.
Sugar and Spice want to give all the love this Valentines Day! They got an upgrade to their playspace so now these cuties will have more space to grow. We are told they are and , so hard to say how big they will get!
Yay for electricity! We are dog sitting, so 4 incontinent dogs and no hot water or washer was rough. But Rollie would like to give a big shout out to the utility workers, who were working around the clock (except to my husband he still wants to eat your boots) to restore power to the area. I hope you buy something amazing with that double time, you deserve it!

Sacramento- Bubba is a cute deaf Frenchton boy full of energy and love. He has a great personality, and ignores all the foster jerks in the house. He is great in the crate and potty trained and loves to play and lay on top of you. He was dumped at a groomers office and now is looking for his home. He is neutered up to date on vaccines, microchipped and ready to find his forever home.
