It is with great sadness that I am announcing that, after serving the Land Park community for 14 years, Land Bark Pet Supplies will be closing the doors permanently by the end of June. I am incredibly grateful for all the years of support from the neighborhood. However, business never fully recovered after the fire in the complex last May 5th. We are having a “Going Out of Business” sale, with everything in the store heavily discounted. Thank you again for all of your support throughout the years.

I am so happy to introduce to everyone the newest member of the Land Bark Pet Supplies family. His name is Scout. He is a Siberian Husky mix and is 20 weeks old. He absolutely loves people and other dogs and is spending most days at the store.
He will be happy to greet you with a wagging curly tail and plenty of puppy enthusiasm. Stop by to meet him and bring your energetic furry family member.

NEW ITEM: I am excited to bring in these new jerky treats from Open Farm. These grain free treats are sustainably sourced and come from humanely raised animals. They come in 4 flavors: Chicken, Beef, Salmon and a Turkey recipe. They can be easily torn into small pieces for training or just used as a high value reward in the larger strip form.

With the 4th of July rapidly approaching, we want to let you know that we are fully stocked with calming treats and h**p oil that will help ease the stress that fireworks can cause dogs and cats. For those pets that do get anxious from fireworks, we recommend that you begin using calming remedies a day or two before the 4th. That will help keep your pet’s level of anxiety down as much as possible.

As many of you may already know, there was a fire in the shopping center on Riverside Blvd. in which Land Bark Pet Supplies is located. We were very fortunate that our business was not damaged, other than a little smoke. However, several other businesses sustained considerable fire and/or water and smoke damage. Please keep those businesses in your thoughts and try to support them in any way that you can. In the meantime, we wanted to let you know that Land Bark Pet Supplies will continue to be open during our normal business hours. NEW ITEM: I am excited to introduce a new line of wet cat food to our already great selection of choices. KOHA foods offers two great options of wet food for your cat, a limited ingredient pate formula for cats with allergies and/or sensitive digestive systems. They also have a Poke Bowl line of pouches which include chunks of meat in a gravy for those cats that prefer a stew style of wet food.

The high temperatures are here again, and they won't be going away any time soon. Help your dog beat the heat with these "cool" items and treats. I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who came out on Monday, September 6th to join us in celebrating the completion of the beautiful mural, here at the Riverside Shopping Center. Thank you also to those in the community who gave continued support to the artist during the project. I especially want to thank Maren Conran and her amazing team of artists for all their hard work and countless hours that they put in to get the mural done in such a timely manner. I encourage everyone to come down to check out the final project and to take some amazing pictures.

We have some very exciting news: This coming Monday, September 6th, from 10:00AM to 12:0PM, there is going to be a huge event celebrating the completion of the fabulous mural. More details are included in the attached flier. Please come join us for all the festivities.

I am so excited to be able to share some pictures of the progress that has been made on the mural in the last week. The mural is nearly completed and we are thrilled with how amazing it looks. I would also like to say thank you to everyone who came out for the community paint day. We had such a great turnout. Stay tuned for more photos as the mural reaches completion, as well as details of upcoming events regarding the mural.

I have a very exciting announcement. Beginning today, renowned muralist Maren Conrad and her team will be working on two murals at the Riverside Shopping Center. The project is expected to take approximately two weeks. We encourage our customers to come by to watch as these amazing works of art progress. We will also be posting photos to keep you all updated.

It's been a while since we last did this, so we want to take a moment now to share more great pictures of our dog "customers" who have visited us recently. With the 4th of July being just around the corner, we wanted to take a minute to remind everyone that we have several options of calming treats, as well as CBD Oil to help dogs deal with the stress of Fireworks. We recommend that you start using calming aids a couple of days in advance of the 4th. That will help create a lower stress level before the Fireworks begin, thus preventing your dog from becoming too anxious.
