This dog URGENTLY needs placement by 8/28/24 at 3pm!!

Prancing Parson (A866125) is a 4-year-old neutered German Shorthaired Pointer that desperately needs placement! Parson has been adopted and returned twice due to attacking other dogs and was too interested in kitty cats. While he does not participate in shelter playgroups, this liver and white pooch gets his jollies out in the play yards with volunteers, working on his skills such as “sit” and “down”. A previous adopter let us know he is attentive, affectionate and appears house trained. On his doggie field trip earlier this month he went to the park, met lots of people rode well in the car. His pointer energy is go-go-go and he could play fetch (his favorite game!) for hours. Parson is a wiggly, energetic boy who will thrive in an active, controlled environment where he can be the only pet.

If you are interested in rescuing an animal that is on this list, please be sure to include the Animal ID (A #) you are referring to. Rescue representatives must make appointments with the Rescue Coordinator to evaluate or pick up an animal. Rescue organizations must be approved rescue partners with our shelter prior to the release of any animal.

Rescue Memo 08/15/2024 - Logan came in with wounds on his face and eye. He's finishing up treatment and is feeling better daily! He met some dogs recently and was fine doing his own thing in the yard.
