We are devastated to announce that our Patches crossed the Rainbow Bridge yesterday evening. She was surrounded by those that loved her both in person and in spirit. She touched so many hearts throughout her 17 years of life both prior to and while residing at Pat's Place. She was a bright beacon for all of the staff and she was a staple for so many of our clients. We always used to joke that she was our HR manager, but really, she was part of every interview held inside of the kennel. We knew that if she chose to sit on the lap of a potential candidate, we were interviewing a good egg!

She lived an amazing life and brought so much joy to us all. It will understandably take us some time to adjust to the overwhelming feeling of emptiness inside of the kennel. We appreciate your patience and understanding if our staff members are not their bubbly selves. We are trying to stay positive and remember the joy she brought, but this loss is personal to us all.

It is with a heavy heart we say goodbye to our beloved Reginald 💔 He was a very special bird who loved his "cat pack" and their cat food.

Kitty and Kitty had a great first visit to Pat's Place. Both were a little shy in the beginning, but after a few days, they both were out exploring the kennel.

Every now and then, there will be a few kittens that will meet on their first stay at Pat's Place and then conveniently board again at the same time after that. So the kittens get to "grow up together." We love when this happens. They become friends and always seem to remember each other.

Our new group is Blossom(calico), Cosette(grey), and Moe(brown tabby). They have been at Pat's a few times now and seem to have made great friends with each other. We look forward to watching them grow up.

Moe the Munchkin is as sweet as he is adorable! We love when he comes to stay with us.

These adorable fur kids took no time to settle in and think they owned the place. (We let every kitty guest think that!) They loved playing with toys and spending time on catio. We can't wait to see them again.

Sally Boy, aka Sal, usually has his macho side showing, but when he thinks we aren't looking, we will play with catnip or a toy. His big secret is that he loves playing with the kitten guests.

Joy Joy was a bit nervous when she first got to Pat's Place but after a few days we couldn't keep her in her room. There was so much fun to be had. She did manage to pose for a quick picture.

We had an interesting pairing of guests over the weekend. Artemis the Maine C**n is one of our tallest guests and Moe the Munchkin is our shortest.

Who needs a nail trim?! We know nails can be difficult to trim and have been thinking about doing a nail trim clinic for the kitties. Is this something anyone would be interested in?
