The California Veterinary Medical Reserve Corps (CAVMRC) is offering a low-cost online training for veterinarians, RVTs, and veterinary assistants on November 3, 2024 entitled Animals in Disasters – Common Medical Conditions. This course will offer up to 7 CEUs and will address emergency/critical care topics.

The California Veterinary Medical Reserve Corps (CAVMRC) continues to assist UC Davis’ California Veterinary Emergency Team - CVET in caring for animals affected by the Park Fire. Volunteers are currently stationed in Oroville, California treating companion animals, horses, and livestock.

California Veterinary Medical Reserve Corps (CAVMRC) volunteers are being deployed to the Park Fire burning across the Counties of Butte, Plumas, Shasta, and Tehama to provide medical care to affected animals.
