Although there has been talk that California’s fire season is now year-round, conditions are riskiest in early fall when dry, offshore winds fuel some of the most destructive fires. With its new Mobile Command Center and supply trailer, the California Veterinary Medical Reserve Corps (CAVMRC) is ready to assist animals injured in declared emergencies.
