A horse in Stark County, North Dakota, tested positive for EHV and was euthanized, and 20 exposed horses are under quarantine.

Show horse lays down in his own stall and sticks his knee in winter fresh gum.
I’m not amused and he’s not even mine.

My reply…

It was one of the best I've ever judged. I had scores in the 80's. The courses had
A Lot to them, and were set to allow the cream to rise to the top. The riders were hungry to win, perfectly prepped, and totally supportive of each other (and even other barns' riders). It was a joy to judge them.

Scottsdale thru the years has always thrown great horses at me. This year just seemed the best of them all.
Kudos and thank you to all involved for another successful, classy, beautifully run show.

Rockwood Glen students, families and friends.
I finally have a date for the Horses 101 clinic that I have been promising for the last 10 months. February 4, starting at 9:00, we will cover safety, basic horse responses, general barn information, how to halter, lead and groom and move your horse’s body. I will have examples of horse/rider connections, right and wrong ways of doing things and am open to whatever other topics or questions you would like to discuss.

I am also posting clinic dates for this spring:
February 24th, groundwork and in-hand trail.
February 25th, Trail clinic.
March 10th in-hand trail and ridden trail. March 30th Cowboy Dressage clinic and practice tests. May 4th, trail clinic. Then May 25th and 26th there’s an opportunity for a two day clinic if I have people that would like to haul in and stay over night again.

I’m sharing this-

Sure this is a long shot but it’s worth the try….
A buckle was made for me and shipped US mail. Delivered on 12/23/23 at 12:01 & scanned in & delivered by postal carrier. It was a saturday and not my normal carrier who works weekdays and always delivers packages to my door. The package/buckle has been stolen from my box… Not sure what some A Hole will do with it as it has my brand on it which many people know. So I know it is a long shot but cant think of where someone would sell it off but to a western type person. If anyone sees it please contact me. This picture was taken to show me how it turned out before it was shipped. Thank You!!
