Training Puppies

Are you longing for a puppy but finding it's never quite the right time? Our Started Puppy Training program offers the perfect solution to smooth the addition of a new furry member into your family. During our four-week started pup training class, your adorable canine companion will focus on essential obedience skills. From hand targeting to commands like sit, down, stay, and loose leash walking, we ensure your pup learns the ropes of good behavior. They'll also work on door manners and good crate habits, ensuring harmonious living in your home. We emphasize comprehensive puppy socialization, including exposure to car rides, grooming sessions, and sensory play. In a nurturing environment, your pup will encounter a variety of sights, sounds, smells, and people, fostering confidence and adaptability. Throughout the training process, the puppies enjoy both indoor and outdoor spaces, with a dog door facilitating their transition between environments. While they'll need to adjust to your home's potty system, many families attest to the smoothness of the process, thanks in part to our structured setup. Our Started Pup Training program encompasses all training sessions, age-appropriate vaccinations, as well as board and care. The cost of the program is $1800 for the 4 week class. Currently, we're thrilled to offer our started puppy training program with two current litters: Stella v Tucker: Minisweighing between 17-25 pounds, featuring apricot coats with white markings and parti pups. Go-home date of either April 10th (normal go-home day) or May 8th, following completion of the training class. Neena v Ernie: Large Mediums ranging from 34-46 pounds, showcasing apricot and red hues with charming white markings. Here's a little behind the scenes look at one of our puppy spaces. All of our litters have indoor/outdoor access with a dog door in between. This allows us to take advantage of the puppies natural instinct to not potty where they sleep. This set-up helps with potty training and we have many families tell us their puppies had minimal accidents after they went to their forever home. This adorable litter is our Teacher's Pets litter, a repeat pairing of Mia & Charlie. Their personalities are coming out more and more each day and we can't wait to meet their new forever families at puppy selections on 9/11 & 9/12. The first thing we teach pups in our Started Pup training program is hand targeting (touch) and learning the mark (good). Liam is a star student and picked it up very quickly! In our Started Pup Training program, each puppy gets 2-3 basic obedience training sessions per day, 3-day time crating sessions and is also crated overnight. We focus on puppy socialization; good house manners and your puppy makes a good start on potty training and continues to have indoor/outdoor access with a dog door in between like all of our litters. This set up helps reinforce your pup's nature to not potty where they sleep and helps with the potty-training process. We currently have open training spots for our Popsicle Pups litter (Dot v Dug) due to go home 7/31 for normal go-home day or 8/28 from our Started Pup Training program. Training costs $450/week ($1800 for the 4 weeks) and includes all age appropriate worming and vaccinations. Mother Nature likes to surprise us! Our surprise… 11 puppies 🐶 3 days early. That doesn’t sound too early but for dogs it is - every day counts and 3 days is premature. Plus It took a couple of days for Dot to establish a milk supply. The Pupdate is these guys are little fighters and everyone is thriving! However initially 3 of the pups were struggling. Luckily momma Ivy with her own litter of two, was ready to accept these 3 little ones as her own 💕 the older foster sisters also didn’t skip a beat.

Drumroll please….time for the big reveal…it’s a cat tower! We are pleased to announce a new member of the Elite Blend family. Our youngest, Nathan, diligently saved $200 for a kitty and how could we say no?! Welcome to the family Captain Thunder Paws 🎉 Keep an eye out for dog & cat shenanigans as Thunder Paws learns to navigate the dog world here at Elite Blend.

Our Across The Stars litter (Luna v Mason) had their first solid food and they enjoyed eating it off each other more than eating it out of the bowl ❤️

Sawyer is a 3 year old multigenerational Australian labradoodle. He’s a daddy to our Elite Blend pups and we are looking for a special family to be his guardian. He came to us a month ago and has been working on his formal obedience training and is doing fabulous! He’s eager to please, a quick learner and has great house manners.
