As 2025 draws to a close, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Elite K9 for organizing a diverse range of exceptional workshops throughout the year, covering topics such as canine first aid, K9 BSD, legal matters, interdiction, and more. The reinstatement of the K9 Street Survival School, providing hands-on training, as well as the Police K9 Conference in Las Vegas and the K9 Cop Magazine in Nashville, has been particularly noteworthy. I am grateful for the expertise of all instructors and the additional knowledge acquired over the past year.

Jeremy McLaughlin is a seasoned professional in the field of canine handling, boasting over 24 years of experience with the Department of Corrections. He is the proud owner of Resolute Detection Services, and he supervises civilian detection trails aimed at generating funds for agency needs. Jeremy holds various roles including drug beat evaluator, and serves as a judge for several organizations including NACSW, AKC Scentwork, and CPE CSS.

McLaughlin's unique experience, which bridges the realms of civilian and law enforcement, positions him as a sought-after trainer, as he possesses deep insights into what truly drives canine behavior.

As the year draws to a close, December is shaping up to be a phenomenal finale. This weekend, I hosted my last scentwork workshop of the year in Paducah, Ky. The workshop was attended by teams from various parts of the country, who were eager to improve their skills in trialing and navigate complex search environments. I would like to thank everyone who participated and am thrilled about our forthcoming workshops next year, which are scheduled to take place across the country.

With trial season approaching I have been trying to bring the extra energy and flash to Romes heeling. Yesterday with a little primary and secondary reward for obedience I was able to see what I wanted energy wise from him. Thank you Courtney for the tune up.
