Very often people ask exactly what does my business enTAIL?! Aside from pet sitting for vacations I offer daily visits for the pet parents whose long work days mean their animals require a break like BENTLEY, REMMY, OSCAR, PELE, CHLOE & her sis. Or clients like my big girl, BINNE, an Irish Wolfhound, whose nails I’ve been trimming since she was 8 weeks old when we first met at a veterinary hospital I was employed at. She’s never left her house for a mani or pedi. And there’s my most recent client who came to me on an emergency basis. Because life happens! I received a call based on a referral from a previous client for a family experiencing an emergency that left their beloved 15 yr old cat alone in Sanford, Mi. Arrangements were made via phone and I was able to accommodate and most importantly offer peace of mind which is truly priceless when it involves loved ones and distance. Despite never meeting the owners they trusted not only their home but their beloved cat to my care. That speaks volume to my lil reputation.
Unfortunately I do NOT offer boarding since my home is typically full of fosters.

The dog, cat, rat 🐶🐱🐭 days of summer are drawing to an end. It’s been one of the busiest for PPPC and me. Blessed to add so many new members to my pack and continue the care for many of my regular clients. This month I celebrate 8 yrs in business and without the support from many of you that wouldn’t be possible. In addition all the referrals from local veterinarians are appreciated immensely. I look forward to continuing to offer personalized pet care in the comfort of your pet’s home. Unfortunately I do not offer boarding as I coordinate for a local rescue and my home is full. I might not make the big bucks but my services make a BIG difference in the lives of my clients … the sick ones especially.
Daisy is almost if not 20 years old and is sadly in kidney failure amongst other ailments. She requires subcutaneous fluids weekly to help keep her well enough considering. Recently her veterinarian increased the frequency to twice weekly. Her mum wants to minimize any stress so fluids at home is a definite benefit for them, both.
R***r, Zuzu and kitty who works for treats lol also benefit from my services. Mr Handsome, sweet, old R***R recently had both of his eyes removed. His parents did all they could to preserve his deteriorating eyes. Prior to the removal of his eyes I administered 2 different eye drops on my visits in addition to oral medication. I also give the allergy injection for his sis, ZUZU. Not your ordinary pet sitter isn’t just a slogan but a way of business for me. Proud to say going on 8 yrs this August 2023. Someone asked me the other day if I still offer pet sitting. I answered with an emphatic yes!! I’m still running the roads rain, sleet or snow. My clients most importantly their pets rely on me not just for potty breaks and loving. Some like my friend, R***R (cattle dog) require medication a few times a day. I apply 2 different types of drops 3xs a day to both eyes in addition to administering his oral meds. He’s legally blind and requires direction to navigate around except when he’s making new paths in the snow. Pets with special needs are my specialty. One of my elderly cat clients is sadly in kidney failure and subcutaneous fluids are necessary. Instead of stressing her out with car rides to the vet I come over to her house and give the fluids. Does your pet hate going to the vets office for nail trims? Consider having it done in your own home. Personalized pet care provided by a certified veterinary technician is what sets my pet sitting services apart from others. The dog days of summer are near and it’s more than just dogs here at PPPC keeping me busy. There have been fish 🐠, turtles 🐢, cats 🐈 and of course dogs 🐕 whose schedules I’ve maintained in their pet parents absence. Take a moment to peruse their pics if you’re in need of a cuteness fix.

These past few weeks have been a blur of fur! Many new members welcomed to my PPPC pack. Some requiring specialized care for their medical needs. It’s hard enough to leave our fur babies but when they are sick or have medical conditions it exasperates the situation. I speak from experience as a pet owner too. It’s so rewarding to hear from clients how much they actually enjoyed their vacation knowing their pets were in my care.
Maintaining routines is what I do especially for the diabetic dog or cat of which it’s utmost important. Even if that means 5 am feedings which is imperative prior to the insulin injection and to repeat at 5 pm. Another client’s dog required 2 different eye drops administered twice daily along with oral meds.

My services extend beyond dogs and cats too. Recently 2 lop ear bunnies (separate homes) and 2 chinchillas joined my growing family. Not your ordinary pet sitter isn’t just a slogan but an accurate depiction of PPPC 💜🐾

How excited I am to FINALLY make this post!!!! After another year of uncertainty and covid related cancellations PPPC is here and so is the demand for my services. The phone has been ringing plus lots of emails from potential new clients and pack members. In August I quietly celebrated 6 yrs in business because the jobs just weren’t there. The beginning of this month has renewed my hope that things are getting back on track. The most important part of why I’m fortunate enough to still do what I love is because of ALL the referrals. If I could thank each and everyone of you personally I would. Since that’s not possible please accept my heartfelt gratitude for the kind words and suggesting PPPC for people’s pet sitting needs.
I must acknowledge my long term regular clients who are the backbone of my business. If you didn’t believe in me, some for 6 yrs, I wouldn’t have survived the past 2. From buying gift certificates for future use or sending cards and thoughtful flowers just to remind me I am family. Thank you, thank you.
