As of this writing, all of our pups have found a home. We were able to place a puppy with the family of a Fallen Police Officer. We weren't able to help every one that needed it. Your names are etched in our roster for our next litter. We do plan on attempting another litter in November.

Thank you for all the wonderful support. We will be posting pics of the pups that have gone to Furever homes as they are made available.

On a special note: This all started with a visit from a friend, A Gold Star Mother whose son was killed in Iraq. Sean Mitchell.our last litter of pups started going home on the anniversary of his passing.

Week 7... WE LOVE OUTSIDE!!!!
Mom is weaning us and we aren't too happy about that but kibble is yummy!!! And We got to play in the splash pool!!!! OMG!!! Did you know that after you get wet and you roll in the Grass and dirt it sticks to you!!!
We all thought that was the best... the big guy wasn't to amused though...

WEEK 6!!!
WE are getting lots of outside time in nice weather.

We love our tunnel and balks and squeaky toys.

Bath time, not so much...

And attacking the big guy all at once is our MOST FAVORITE!!!

We've grown almost 20 percent! We are eating at every opportunity and snoozing when we aren't. Mom is doing a good job keeping us clean and warm. Our little noses and paws have color now and we have learned how to call out if we are cold or hungry or just missing Mama...

After the untimely passing of our son, we went a little off the rails and let our breeding falter.

I am extremely happy to report that as of 10:00 hours we have 10 AKC Golden retriever pups delivered.

Mom and pups are doing fine and should be ready for forever homes in 10 weeks.

Our Goal at Gold Star Goldens is to offer free of charge 2 pups from this litter to the immediate family of a service member killed in the line of duty. We offer these dogs as Companion animals. they could very likely be trained as service animals, however that is not our forte.

These dogs will be well socialized, healthy, and currently vaccinated. The blood line seems to have produced some of the smartest and most emotionally empathetic dogs I have ever seen. While nothing can console the loss of a loved one; the kind of love these dogs can provide is incredibly beneficial.

If you are a member of a Military Gold Star family, or if you know of one who would benefit from this please send a message here and we can start working out the details.

We will also gladly consider the family of a fallen Police Officer, EMT, or Fire Fighter.
