Looking for a fun and rewarding job this spring and summer? The Saginaw Children's Zoo is hosting a Seasonal Job Fair on February 26, 2025 from 10AM-Noon, and 3PM-6PM at the Zoo Store at the Saginaw Children's Zoo! 🌟

We’re seeking energetic and friendly individuals to help create magical experiences for our guests. Seasonal positions are available in:

Another perfect, picturesque, snowy Melinda—or Melin-deer, as her keepers lovingly call her! 🥰 ❄️

Did you know white-tailed deer like Melinda are built for winter survival? Their winter coats are made up of hollow hairs that trap air, providing insulation to keep them warm in freezing temperatures. Plus, their fur changes to a darker color in winter to help absorb more heat from the sun. 🦌☀️

Our friends in the Forgotten Forest were feeling awfully "nosey" this week!🐺✨

Did you know? Mexican gray wolves are the rarest subspecies of gray wolves in North America and are classified as endangered. Native to the southwestern United States and Mexico, these incredible animals play a critical role in maintaining healthy ecosystems by controlling prey populations and promoting biodiversity.

Through conservation efforts, including reintroduction programs and habitat protection, the population of Mexican gray wolves is slowly recovering. Together, we can help ensure their survival!
