Gunner is on a stray hold. He was wondering the streets of Saginaw, eluding everyone.
Come to find out he’s the biggest baby ever! 🥺💙
How he managed on the streets is beyond me.

Can you guys help me keep him out of doggy jail? I am looking for a foster who has the space and love to give. All supplies and vetting is supplied by our rescue. He loves all humans, does well with other playful dogs, and unsure of cats but can be tested if needed. If you can help us help him please reach out! Below is a link to our foster application. Foster to adopt homes needed! 🐾 🏡

Meet Mickey!
A 8 mo old German shepherd. Mickey came from a very rough start and would do best in a home with someone patient and compassionate. He does take a bit to wake up but once he does he is convinced he is glued to you and becomes the sweetest big lap puppy, ever! Mickey is awaiting his neuter and then will be adoptable. He is good with other dogs and adult cats. He will chase kittens with the intent to play.

Secondly we have Dusty! He is our longest residing resident. He is a bull mastiff mix, around 2 yrs old and around 50lbs. Dusty does great with all other animals and absolutely adores everyone he meets. Dusty would make the perfect companion for almost anyone however due to his size we recommend not young children.

Last but not least, Sammie! Sammie was tied to our rescues door, left abandoned. She was a very scared girl but immediately warmed up and is the silliest girl with so much personality! Sammie is around 5 mo old. She is a mix, roughly 30 lbs. Sammie does great with other animals and loves people, especially kids! She is gentle and would make a wonderful addition to a loving family.

The past few days we’ve had an abundance of support and being the one and only person behind the scenes facilitating intakes, introducing animals, providing endless transport to vet appts, conducting and arranging meet and greets, giving meds, baths, facilitating feedings, answering messages, and the cleaning!! Oh man the cleaning 😅 it really is never ending behind the scenes of a rescue. I owe a huge thank you to my 8 year old son who not only shares my passion for helping animals but also puts in soo much leg work along with me! The kid is up at 8am walking Rottweilers you guys, he’s truly the best helper you could have! 💙
Keep in mind though the work is draining. Physically of course but mentally.. it’s taxing.
So I just want to thank all of our followers and our supporters. We have roughly 10 bags of dog food on the way and a few toys as well! We haven’t been this blessed in a very long time so please know you are all appreciated. I couldn’t do this without you guys.
Just when I want to throw in the towel something happens and I’m reminded that I am needed and I am valued in the rescue community. We’re making a huge impact one fur baby at a time thanks to your guys’ endless support for our cause.

Unfortunately.. a day has arrived we knew would come. Sweet Cleo is starting to rapidly decline.

When Cleo came to us she was full of infection throughout her body, and her ear was a literal hot mess. It was horrific. We treated Cleo and as we started to get a better look at her ear, we learned Cleo has an aggressive cancer. It was in her bones and throughout her body. Our strong girl spent weeks in the hospital getting the absolute best care from Ferstl Veterinary Hospital. She came home and went into a hospice foster, not knowing how long this sweet girl had left Claire, our foster, has been so lovingly dedicated to Cleo and letting her live her best life. She has been Cleo’s angel the last three months and we are so thankful for her being such a great help to not only us, but our sweet girl Cleo.
The time has sadly come that she is loosing her drive to fight. Her foster is having an in home service come out tomorrow for euthanasia. At this point I believe Cleo has got to know endless bounds of love and compassion. She fought so hard and she was such a silly puppy girl at heart. We love you Cleo 💖

Update on the two puppies tied to our back door! 🐾

Sammie and Ellie are coming out of their shell. These two were petrified when I found them and I’m so glad to say they are the sweetest, most loving puppies! They are not microchipped.
After their stray hold is up we will get them fully vetted and into good homes. Both of these girls would love a foster home to get comfy in for a bit! All supplies are provided by my rescue. All we ask of you is to give them lots of love💝💖
Fosters always get first opportunity at adopting.

🆘🚨Emergency two puppies LEFT TIED 🚨🆘
These sweet babies (approx 5 mo. litter mates?) were found tied to my back door tonight, assumingely by someone aware of my rescue.
They are safe but this was NOT an approved intake that I was able to prepare for. I am low on supplies as it is and just had some serious health concerns come up. Yet someone who likely knows me, and seen my pleas for help, dumped these puppies on me. Knowing I can’t turn them down, I did report to AC who is full, I will now be forced to make not only the space, but the supplies last. I am pleading if you can not foster PLEASE consider gifting to the animals in my rescue. We are down to TWO bags of dog food that won’t last more than 1.5 days.
My rescue is asking for your help to please help us provide for these poor, deserving fur babies who did not ask to be tied up and left in the cold. My heart breaks for these two😞 but they are now safe ❤️‍🩹 ways to help the rescue are ⬇️:

So many people wanted to foster Benny and then when it comes down to it everyone wants to stall. As if I don’t have 9 other dogs in my care. I can not House him, I have NO room!
If no one steps up I need another rescue to take him.
He’s literally the sweetest boy ever! Does well with dogs. Unsure on cats. Loves kids and people.
Any rescues have room with a foster lined up?

12/14 update! Benny went to a foster-to-adopt home with a breed experienced momma who just adores him! He has kids to run and play with and is soooo happy!! 🐾💙

🚨 UPDATE 12/11 a foster home is still needed, urgently!! The President of our rescue has endured some unexpected health concerns and we need an approved foster for this sweetie 🚨

He is good with most other dogs, and loves everyone. Cats have not yet been tested.
Benny is roughly 1.5 and extremely intelligent. He would absolutely love an active home!

🐾 🚨 Update: 🚨🐾 Benny is doing absolutely amazing given all the changes he’s endured.
We are still looking for the right foster home for him! Benny needs a dominate handler (rotties can be stubborn breeds). He is as sweet as they come however we recommend no cats at this time, or the ability to keep them separated. He loves children! Today we welcomed Benny into our rescue. He was found earlier last week, soaking wet on the streets of Detroit. He has some minor food aggression (he is underweight so it’s understandable) and is working on potty training however is the biggest lover boy 💙
We are looking for a sponsor or pledges for his neuter! That is $140. The sooner we can raise those funds, the sooner this handsome fella can find the FURever home that he deserves!

So playful 💖💖 don’t mind their messy room, kids I tell ya 😉 It’s hard to believe these girls were on the brink of death Saturday. I’ve fully committed to their care and to see the results, just warms my soul.

IM NOT CRYING, your crying! Debating on posting this as I look horrendous but that’s just one of the many fun parts of rescue 😂 Cleo leaned into me last night and laid her head in my lap for almost an hour. We laid on the blankets in her room and just cuddled. She is such a thankful little soul 💞 She makes all the bad parts easier. The blood, the puss, the infection. Under all of that distress is a beautiful loving dog who never deserved an ounce of the pain she’s endured. Cleo is going to make a family VERY happy one day soon. Better days are here sweet Cleo. Shadow update: Shadow is covered in mange and so miserable. She itches non stop so this morning we did a soak in antiseptic shampoo from the vets and a concoction of honey, olive oil, aloe Vera, and ACV. She’s getting some much needed relief as it’s apparent she’s been like this for awhile. She is so over bred my heart physically hurts for her. I’ll continue to keep you all updated with her progress.
