Yesterday was our Jessie Rouse Elementary School Holiday Music Concert 🎶 and the students did a wonderful job performing 🎤 Thank you to Mrs. Schellhas for putting this on for our families 💚❤️

Today our 3rd and 4th graders had the chance to meet and hear from Dr. Pruitt, Dr. Seals and Mrs. Seals. Students got to see Dr. Pruitt’s book she wrote along with hearing words of encouragement and advice from these highly respected community members. And, Dr. Pruitt, so generously, gave each student their own copy of her book when they were done too! We thank you all so much!

Students in Mrs. Mutton’s 2nd grade learned about different materials and their qualities. They then used various materials to make a hat to protect them from the sun and made it sweat proof too!

1st graders in Mrs. Cowan and Mrs. Moore’s rooms were spoiled with pizza, hot cocoa and treats as a reward for improving on their NWEA scores from Fall to Winter 🧠

What a wonderful day we had at Jessie Rouse for Mrs. Jo Ann Harris’s and Mrs. Marge Bullock’s preschool celebration. The children preformed 3 songs and received their certificates. Later our families enjoyed cupcakes, chips, cookies, yogurt, cotton candy, water, and juice. The children were also given gifts to enjoy during the summer. Mrs. Harris would like to send a special thanks to #PNCGrowUpGreat and Katie Frankowski of Freeland, MI for donating Hoppity balls and all of the other fun summer learning materials her preschoolers received. Thanks once again for sharing your children with us and we hope you have a wonderful summer!
