It's been quite the recovery journey since my life altering accident back in October. My life and livelihood is animal care and that includes lots of walking! I miss taking the pups for walks on the beach or hikes in the cool forest. I have been imagining walking with them and one day soon will be able to make up for all the cuddles and treats I've missed! 🐾

I was in a near fatal motorcycle accident a few weeks ago. Ironically it was due to a turtle 🐢 (the turtle is ok). I had to undergo multiple surgeries within a week and was hospitalized for a week. I’m home now and getting by with help from family & friends. I won’t be able to walk till sometime next year. Unfortunately I do not have health insurance so this has been a huge hit physically, emotionally and financially. We still need to get me set up with physical therapy and home care. I miss the fur babies sooo much and envision when I was able to walk them to the beach. I hope I can again one day soon 🙏🐾🦮 here’s me and when I first got home 💛 she heard she was seeing me and brought her baby lamb! So sweet 🥲 my GoFundMe link is in my bio. Last days with Lily 💗🌸 She was recently diagnosed with spleen/liver cancer and it’s too far along to do anything about it other than make her last days as fun and comfy as possible! This process is never easy especially when it comes to the pure hearted and innocent ones. It is an honor for me to know each and every one of them and be with them during all their days - the good and difficult ones. 🙏 Lily got this sweet lamb toy which she loves and won’t stop carrying around. She also got flowers, treats, steak and chicken. Send her your love! 🤍

🥵🐾 With the weather getting hotter and hotter and UV index being 10/10 some days, we will have to start walks earlier or later in the day to adhere to safety precautions. It is not safe for certain types of breeds to be walking in this weather in the middle of the afternoon. Dog’s paws can also burn on the hot pavement. These next few months water will be brought on walks and shady routes will be sought out! 🌞
