Even the feistiest felines are no match for our Cat People! 😻 Here’s how we tame our cat guests and even get a cuddle or two in return:
- chill vibes! cats have completely different energy levels than dogs, and coming in too loud and fast can stress them out and cause them to run and hide
- watch where you pet! cats are all about consent and will let you know if they want you to pet them and where
- boundaries! if they need a few hours or a day to settle in and calm down, that’s okay! most times, giving them space to relax on their own time will help them feel more comfortable!

We also want to remind everyone that while there’s light rain and no thunder or lightning we are still having playtimes today, but we will not be having playtimes tomorrow, Thursday 10/10, due to the hurricane.

Since Wacky Wednesday launched in 2009, our amazing pet parents have helped us donate nearly $400,000 to animal organizations nationwide. 🐾 This year, each of our resorts have chosen a pet charity local to their community to support and help spread the fun during this Wacky season! From now until October 30th, every day camp visit means $1 donated to these incredible organizations. The more day camp visits, the more we can contribute! 🎊

Hi friends! We just wanted to send out a quick reminder for anyone bringing a furry friend to stay with us through the storm - if you have an anxious pet, please remember to bring any possible anxiety medications they have may have, as well as thunder jackets, or t-shirts and towels (no blankets) with your scent on it to make sure they are extra comfortable during their stay! Also, please make sure you have any updated vaccine information on hand at drop off, as this is still needed for us to be able to take in animals.

If you have any questions or simply want to check on your fur-babies, please reach out to our front desk! Our staff is prepped and ready to go to keep everyone safe this week! 🩵

Due to Hurricane Milton's severe weather, we will not have playtimes on Thursday, October 10. All pets will have potty breaks as normal. Our team members remained focused on the safety and health of all pets in our care.
