We are so so proud of this homegrown 2 y/o, Betty! This girl is so willing, has the biggest heart, and is extremely trainable. She has only had a handful of rides and this was her first time being ridden off of the lunge line and it didn’t faze her at all. To watch this horse go around is so incredibly rewarding. Betty had a freak accident as a yearling and had 50/50 odds of making it and significantly lower odds of ever being sound. Stall rest for a yearling is no easy feat and she stayed level-headed the whole time. She truly is one of the best minded babies we have raised and we are so excited for her debut later this year 😉 She is already 16.1 and has so much more growing to do. VS Cracked The Code

We are headed home from our first APHA world show! Thank you to everyone who supported us on the livestream and good luck calls/texts! We could not be more proud of our 2 homegrown babies and the handsome Tazz. Here’s some highlights

We are beyond proud of this super talented 4 year old and Addison! Tazz was the youngest horse in his hunter under saddle class and majority of his other classes. 2 years in a row he has come home from a world show with a title in hunter under saddle. We are so excited for his future!

This program was designed to encourage youth to train and work with young horses. By March 1st the only person allowed to touch the horse was the youth. If you asked us 2 months ago if Smitty would be competing at the world show it would have been an instant no. But, in the last month, these 2 have really come together as a pair. The future is bright!

We decided to do this program with Minnie last minute and pulled her straight out of the pasture. She was hauled once and never shown in any of these events and didn’t hesitate to impress us all. This proves how good minded and easy to train Roxie’s (Im Rockin Your World) babies are!

What a wonderful start to The APHA World. This is our first time attending this show and my overachiever daughter decided she would show both a yearling and a 2 year old in the Youth Futurity Project. Which has proven to be challenging!
She ended up 3rd Overall. Placing
2nd in Trail
3rd in Pleasure
2nd in Horsemanship
She may not have won, but she brought a 2 year old she broke to APHA to show when we have never shown him under saddle. Such a rewarding accomplishment. Even though I may have wanted to murder her and the horse through it🤪!

Oh and this week we found out Maci was awarded multiple scholarships through
4H including Horseman of the Year!
Congrats Maci. This one is all you😊🥰❤️
Oh and Smitty, thank you for doing your part 😉

Wow. Time sure does fly. There are 3 years between the two pictures. Heza Rockin Cowboy(Original Cowboy)has shown that he is everything he is bred for and more. For only being shown twice and hauled 3 times, Id say he is a super star.
Homegrown is the way to go! Bred, raised, and trained here at Carousel Show Horses ❤️

Whew. It has been a difficult foaling and breeding season! Gosh so much loss and tragedy this year, but lots of knowledge was gained! I am so happy that we can take a break and now enjoy the two colts we have

Can be just during the summer or may continue through the fall. Looking for someone who doesnt mind the heat, has horse knowledge and experience, and can work independently while being a teamplayer. This is a standard barn job where stalls, feeding horses, and turning them out apply. In addition to basic wound care, scrubbing water buckets, grooming etc…

What a great weekend at the Florida Color Horse Club Gator Classic! It was a fun and productive show! Working out a few kinks and hauling some new ones. 3/5 of the horses we took were bred, raised and trained at CSH! What a cool realization 🥰 Minnie and Artie are both out of Roxie and they both have the same calm, carefree demeanor. So proud of everyone!

Congratulations to our St. Johns County 4-H Members who competed at the State 4-H Hippology Contest this weekend in Gainesville! At the contest, participants tested their knowledge of equine science through five different phases. Our four St. Johns County 4-H members worked together to compete on combined county teams with other members from Duval, Nassau, & Marion counties. Both the intermediate team and senior team won their divisions and members walked away with numerous individual awards. Way to go!🎉🍀🐴
