Galileo is looking for a special adopter because at this time he is blind, and will require extra care. He was born missing an eye and with an ulcer in the other eye. Doctor Sophie is treating his eye ulcer and we are hopeful he will regain some sight once the ulcer has healed. However, Dr. Sophie is not certain he will. His disability doesn't slow him down from playing with his siblings, however.

Is there anyone out there with a big enough heart to give Pup Pup a home? His owner can no longer care for him. Pup Pup is blind and deaf, however there is nothing wrong with his nose! He lives to wander in the grass smelling all the scents. If you are able to give 16 year old Pup Pup a grassy yard for him wander around for whatever time he has left, please PM. 🤞

Daisy May update! Dr Ernie is a miracle worker, Daisy May is an excellent example of that. She is getting around great post surgery. this is what one of our volunteers said after handing out with her: "This is Daisy May. I just took her for a walk. She’s a sweet pea. Great on a leash. She loved to snuggle up on my lab and tipped over as soon as she was pet. All around great personality. She also couldn’t resist the chance to bask in the warm sun. She is recovering from surgery but that didn’t slow her down".

This is Willow! She is shy and very playful. She didn’t take long to adjust to me and trust me. She is ready for a yard and a bed to call home! And if you need a running partner I bet she would do great with that!

Calling all senior dog lovers! 🗣 Freya was found lying in a ditch. It was the discovered she had bite wounds she has recovered from her injuries and ready to go home! This is what a staff member said about Freya: "Omg Freya is the best ever!!!! When the puppies came in, she was so excited, and stayed right by them, watching over them. She was sooooo sweet. 🥰🐾".

Why does no one want want to adopt Bella!?!? She's such a sweet little girl, who needs to loose a few pounds. 😉 Yes, she has a slight neurological condition, but it doesn't stop her from loving life and music! When walking her, if you play music she'll walk right along with you. If you're really lucky, she'll sing along!

UPDATE: we have an adopter for Pablo and Rufus. However we are going to wait a week to see if there is someone out there with a heart big enough to take all three of them. Shirley is 15 years young.

These dogs have been through so much recently, and none of it good. It all began when their owner could not take care of them any longer due to terminal cancer. So, they ended up at a Georgia Animal Control. Safe was notified of their plight and a flight was arranged, but those that follow our Facebook, know that Chico died at the ER of a gastro virus. Chico was Shirley's BFF. A flight was arranged for last Saturday and they were taken to the airport. There it was discovered that Pablo and Rufus would not fit on the plane with the other two dogs. Rufus screamed all the way back to the animal control. Fortunately a pilot agreed to fly them the next day. They are now reunited. It would be a dream come true if they were adopted together!

After all of this, they remain very sweet! They are waiting for their forever homes at our Treasure Beach adoption center. The address is 6101 A1A South, and we are open to the public every day and the year from 11:00 to 3:00.

Naturally Rufus and Pablo are the more adoptable of the three. Is there a hero that would consider giving Shirley a loving home to spend the rest of her days? 🤞🙏
