Joey Romer has been training dogs for over Fouty-Eight years. Also, during that time he was a deputy working K9's for eighteen years with the St John's County Sheriff's Office as well as a K9 Sergeant. After thirty-three years of Law Enforcement he is now retired and spreading his knowledge of working dogs with the public. He specializes in behavioral issues, obedience, protection, tracking, odor

detection and also an evaluator for Canine Good Citizen with the AKC. Please message, call or text to make an

Jasmine: Jasmine, a fun-loving and eager-to-learn mixed-breed dog with a heart full of love and energy. She’s ready to bring joy to her forever home and be your loyal companion in every adventure.

Lola: Lola is a sweet and affectionate boxer mix who’s full of love and ready to be your loyal companion, bringing warmth and joy to your home.

Sarah: Sarah is a gentle and timid Staffordshire terrier looking for a patient and loving home where she can slowly come out of her shell and feel safe.

This past Tuesday, we had the privilege of celebrating the retirement of K9 Judge, a true hero in our community. Trained in detecting 13 different scents, K9 Judge has been called to duty over 1,000 times! The event was a tremendous success, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who donated, shared, and joined us in honoring Judge’s incredible service. Here’s to many happy and well-deserved years of relaxation for Judge! 🥂🎉 A huge thank you to these wonderful businesses helping us make K9 Judges day a great one!

Ruckus is a young pit mix full of love and energy, he’d be wonderful in a home with lots of playtime! He’s also working with us here at smart paws to be well adjusted to commands and manners.

Meet Jasmine, Lola, Lydia, Sarah, & Iris 🐾
These beautiful ladies are ready for their foster homes!
Here are some bios of each of these wonderful pups:

Jasmine - Jasmine is a hound mix full of rambunctious energy, ready to give all of her love!

Lola - Lola is our boxer mix, who’s soaking up knowledge like a sponge! She knows sit, place, crate training, and more. She’s more cool and collected than Jasmine, but has plenty of energy for fun!

Lydia - Lydia is a sweet and gentle girl that is learning the ropes of being a dog! We’re working hard with her to ensure she will be ready for her forever home when the time comes.

Sarah - Sarah is similar to Lydia, shy, sweet, and full of love. Learning to be a dog to be ready for her forever home when she’s prepped.

Iris - Iris is a German shepherd puppy that never fails to make us laugh! She’s a lovable goofball that we would love to see thrive!
