Good morning Boarder family. UGH! Some very ugly weather coming today. Cold temps and lots of rain. Our only choice is to remove blankets due to the rain or we will have pony-sickles tomorrow morning if the blankets are soaking wet from the 1 1/2 inches of rain they say we are going to get. Hopefully our weather forecast is slightly wrong!

BRING A CHAIR AND WHAT YOU WANT TO DRINK and come on up to the East Lake dock! Bring a telescope if you want, although they say people can see the moon, Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune with the naked eye. We will supply marshmallows and some munchies! Boarder Family….I‘m sorry to let you know that Barbara Decker has passed away. Barbara is the wife of Preston, owner of our favorite feed store, Feedin’ Time. I have attached her obituary which provides information for her Memorial Service, to be held on February 1st. Our prayers and sympathy go out to Preston and his family.

Just to let everyone know, Old Duke crossed over the Rainbow Bridge here at the farm yesterday. He was almost 28 years old, a long time figure in our senior boys pasture and quite a character. Our hearts go out to Barb, who was an incredible horse mama. We thank Dr. Emily for her kindness and compassion. Run with the angels buddy.
