Babs is looking for her forever home!

“Sweet, kind, loving. Loves to sleep in your lap at night in bed. Loves a good cat bed but especially loves a good cat tree. She is not afraid of highest of heights. Loves to talk and have a good conversation every evening before bed. She will let you know if the food bowl is empty and if the litter box is full buy talking convincingly and leading you to the issue. She also likes catnip and likes to play with a string toy on occasion but doesn't really play with toys. she is great company.”

Babs is currently living with a dog that causes her constant stress. She’ll do best as the only pet in the house.

We are still trying to raise funds to help pay for Baba O'Reilly's on going medical care which Feline Canopy of Care, Inc. is providing. The first attempt to raise money did not garner much attention. We have spent over $1,000 trying to get a solid diagnosis. It looks like IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) but that is not a complete diagnosis.

Baba is doing well in his home but we'll need additional treatments to live a long and happy life.

Clyde recently lost his owner and best friend. He is looking for a new kitty crash pad. Clyde is 13 years old and weighs 15lbs. He is a little unsure of the shelter environment because this a big difference to what he is used to. Clyde will be hanging in his kennel waiting to meet you. All adoptable cats at Citrus County Animal Services are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. Come meet him at Citrus County Animal Services, 4030 S. Airport Rd, Inverness.
