An unconventional report on last weekend's Barkaritaville dog show:

Nibblin’ on pup cakes
Gettin’ my coat raked
All of my body is covered with fluff
Soon I’ll be going
Into the show ring
And I’ll be stackin’ and struttin’ my stuff

Havin’ some fun right here in Barkaritaville
Searchin’ for my lost toy busy bee
Some people say the lineup’s gorgeous today
And I hope, that he notices me

Well then the judge Boozer
Said he’s not a loser
And then he gave me this ribbon of blue
Well it’s a real beauty
I must be a cutie, cuz ayer they gave me
a yellow one too

Havin’ some fun again in Barkaritaville

Some people say the Glens got noticed today
And I’m glad, that they liked seeing me

Nothing makes a momma happier than to see her baby surpass her own success. Rosie has been a great breed ambassador--making people smile whenever she's out and about, working as a therapy dog to help emergent readers gain confidence, and strutting her stuff in the show ring in her own carefree way. Her meet-and-greets at Irish Fest have been a sensation time and again as visitors learn of the Glen and return year after year asking to visit with ROSIE.
Here she celebrates Elwood's new silver grand champion status, and this contribution as ambassador to the breed. Oh, and by the way, he earned another group 2 this weekend. Way to make your momma proud, Elwood! These AKC awards are completely due to and her dedication to the breed, and expert handling by Adam Bernardin and . Well done, sweet boy.

I don't have photos to prove it, but Elwood earned a group 4 and a group 3 in Erie, PA this weekend! I just came across this beautiful group 4 photo of him with Katie Bernardin in Allentown, from the archives. Looking forward to seeing what this year brings.

This January our little snowbird has flown to Florida, taking Best of Breed at two shows in Brooksville last weekend. Thank you, Adam and Katie Bernardin for encouraging Elwood to shine. Have fun in the sun, sweet boy.

2 clusters, 8 days, 8 group wins! We are so proud of our soulful Elwood, always so eager to please, and as handsome as can be. Thank you to Adam Bernardin and the judges at the Renaissance Cluster. Special thanks to the commentators on AKC TV who were so enthusiastic about our little Glen as he took the Terrier Group, and as he competed in the Best in Show ring. You're making history, little guy. We love you.

Elwood won the terrier group at the Renaissance Cluster in Madison, Wisconsin today. The event was captured and broadcast on AKC TV and it was clear that he was much admired. Thank you, Adam, for your skillful handling; it was a very proud day for the Glen of Imaal Terrier....and he looked absolutely beautiful in the Best in Show ring on the lead with Kaileigh Gonzalez. Way to go, Elwood!

So happy that our Elwood is doing Glens proud at the Middleburg Kennel Club show in Virginia. He earned a Group 3 yesterday. (This is a big deal. For you beginners, this means that out of 121 Terriers, of all different varieties, Elwood came in 3rd!)
