Daycare reservations will be required for Spring Break! Monday, March 25th - Saturday, March 30th No walk-ins for daycare will be accepted. Take-home calendars are available on the front desk, make your reservations soon!

That's right, Santa is stopping by Ruffner's on Wednesday, December 20th! Pictures with your pup are $5 and all proceeds are donated to a local animal shelter. Please make sure your pups are here by 11am if you want to make the nice list! 🐾🎅

We have received many phone calls and questions about this canine respiratory disease illness. We received an email directly from the Department of Agriculture stating that there have been zero confirmed cases of this illness in Illinois. There have been positive cases reported in bordering states of Illinois so they suggest not bringing your dog across state lines at this time. We will continue to be vigilant as always. We did have 8 cases of kennel cough the second week of November. This is why we require the Bordetella vaccine be done every 6 months; if we do have dogs contract kennel cough, it is typically very isolated, and only a few dogs become affected. If you traveled outside of Illinois with your dogs for the holiday please refrain from bringing your dog to daycare, boarding, dog parks, etc. If your dog is showing any symptoms of kennel cough or a respiratory infection, please keep your dog at home and contact your veterinarian.

Ruffner’s Luxury Pet Boarding and Doggie Daycare, an upscale pet care center, is now interviewing for enthusiastic part-time and full-time staff members. We are conveniently located in St. Charles off of Dean Street and Randall Road.
If you love animals, have superior customer service skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply for one of our open positions. All candidates will need to complete a working interview as a condition of being offered employment. Dog care and handling and job-specific software training will be provided.

Grisha and Kylie are two senior cats we took on when their owner went into assisted living and was unable to return to her home. They would love nothing more than a place to take naps and get belly rubs (especially Kylie) If you are interested in Grisha and Kylie please contact us.

We still have sweet Nesta the momma Kitty of the 5 adorable kittens we had here. All her babies found forever homes but unfortunately no one has shown any interest in Nesta. She is just a baby herself, the vet thinks she's around 1 1/2 to 2 years old. If you are interested in Nesta please contact us.

Chewy is one of our foster dogs looking for a forever home. He is a 2 year old Australian shepherd. His previous owners had to make the difficult decision to rehome him because of their long work hours and Chewy having to spend the majority of his time in a crate. He is loving daycare and playing with the other dogs. He would do best in a home with older children or teens because this breed has tendencies to herd. Please reach out if you are interested in Chewy.

New groomer alert! 🚨 We have a new groomer named Dana who will be here Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. She has 18 years of grooming experience and we're excited to have her on the team! Patty is still here Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Call to make an appointment!
