On this Mothers Day, I celebrate the life of my Grandmother, a woman who embodied grace, intelligence, and resilience. Her love for me and my family knew no bounds and her impact on the Rottweiler breed will be felt for generations to come. I am forever grateful for the memories we shared. She was fierce and the matriarch of our family. Will live on thru all of us. 💕

With a heavy heart, I announce the passing of my Grandmother Joan R Klem, a mentor to many and a pioneer in the Rottweiler breed. She passed peacefully in 1924-2024. My grandmother was educated at Northwestern University and imported the first Rottweiler in 1949, going on to judge in 17 countries. She was known as Rottweiler Royalty and played a significant role in shaping the breed's early years. We will dearly miss her, the matriarch of our family, but are grateful for the memories and beautiful dogs she left behind.
