Two beautiful pheasants rest on a keystone background with a private propery sign in the middle, surrounded by corn stalk.

I cannot help but think of my family and their love for pheasants, as they ran a pheasant farm in Pillow, Pa. aswell as Eagle Hill in East Notwegian Twp., and also some of my great friends from high school as we would take our outdoor club from Nativity BVM in pottsville to hunt pheasants stocked by men from the St. Clair Fish & Game.

Some progress on my father’s deer that I had mentioned of creating.

Months ago I had taken a set of antlers from a deer harvested by my dad in the 80s, I had cleaned the decades of time from them and retoned them. I had ordered what I believe is a nice and unique form aswell as a head for the manikin. At this point the antlers are secured to the form as you can see in this picture. As I make progress on this mount and habitat I would like to keep you posted as to take you on a journey on preserving this old harvest to pay tribute to my dear father.
