The memory of this event cannot be measured in points or size, it’s much bigger than that. That hunt & that day will live on with the father and son who took to the deer woods of Pennsylvania together for the rest of their lives. To me, that is what this is all about. I hope your 2024 season is filled with success and memories in the making.

Something a bit different. This Pa coyote was brought to my shop last year to receive a replacement head, eyes, & hide due to a a pet getting a hold of it. The significance of this trophy is that is was originally, successfully hunted by a gentleman years ago. He had since passed away unfortunately, and his son wanted to utilize as much as the original form as possible, to keep a piece of him tied to this trophy. A good man then harvested a coyote for a replacement cape, i had then added the change out head, and at that point was ready to mount. By luck this replacement coyote fit the length and girth of this form without any modification, so to keep the original size to best match the original trophy. I truly hope this met the hopes for this yoing man and his family, to give him the warm reminder of his father whenever they turn to take a look at it.

Attention hunters- I am in need of more capes for shoulder mounts. If you are planning on getting a European mount done, ask your butcher to cape it for a shoulder mount, when you bring your trophy over you will receive credit to use towards it or any mount in the future.

Good morning outdoorsmen & women!

This morning in the shop I’m setting eyes, fins, & antiquing a few salmon replica mounts that had just been delivered for some successful anglers on their trip to Pulaski, NY. This is the finished rattlesnake. I really enjoy the subtle presence of the primary top fangs that i had used from the snake, as well as how the head dried around this form.
