Hello everyone! The next stage at Saltgrass is in full motion. The indoor riding arena we have been waiting for, which will be big enough to ride and rope in, will be done this summer, along with many other upgrades. With a lot of folks wanting swag, we are going to do a contest on the design of the sign that we are getting made by Joshua Parsons. With my father's passing, his favorite saying was I am going to put on my After Fives (shorts or comfy pants) and relax. So in honor of him, we are naming it the After Fives Arena. We would love to see your ideas on this and the winner will get Saltgrass and Twisted J swag! We would love it to include roping of some sort, horses, and the After Fives Arena name. Let's see what we can come up with!

We had rain out here last night. So... the snow pack is ICY! We Salt the barn hill and barn entry everyday but today we salted and cherry stoned everything. But if you come out here... BE CAREFUL IT COULD BE SLIPPERY!

December 10th I lost my hunting buddy, my mentor, and my best friend. He taught me how to be a hard worker and to never quit. Will miss the hours of talking deer hunting and how to master the chase to get that big buck. Drives to work won’t be the same anymore. The morning text won’t be the same but I will remember all the times we had together. Miss you pops
