Hurricane Preparedness For Pets Checklist:

• Leash, harness, and/or collar
• Water (enough for one week)
• Food (enough for one week, with a can opener if canned food is included)
• Medications including heartworm and flea prevention. (enough for two weeks)
• Toys/blanket for comfort
• Crate for shelter and transport
• Clothing if needed
• Photo of the pet
• Immunization records (If having to relocate to a shelter they will require your pet immunizations be up to date)
• Bowls for food and water
• Litter/travel liter box
• Sedatives/calming aids if needed.

We want to give a HUGEEEEE shoutout to one of our clients. Her daughter made us these DELICIOUS goodies after needing emergency surgery on her fur baby Jude. These pictures definitely do not do the treats justice for how amazing they are. She even made the picture of Jude edible!! Thank you again to the Campopiano Family, we appreciate you all so very much!

Is your dog scared of loud noises? With the 4th of July coming up so quickly ask us about possibly prescribing your pet with Sileo. Sileo is a medicine prescribed by veterinarians to reduce acute anxiety and fear associated with noise in dogs. It is the first FDA-approved treatment for noise aversion in dogs. Sileo is applied by taking a needleless syringe that is filled with gel and applying it to the lining of the dog’s cheek. The drug works by blocking the norepinephrine receptors.
