A huge thank you to Judge Carolyn A. Herbel—our boy did it! 💫 Those closest to me know this has been one long, rocky road. After a serious accident and surgery 🩺, we didn’t even know if Geralt would ever step back into the show ring again.

He got a 4point Major, Winners Dog, Best of Winners, Best of Opposite S*x, and Best of Breed Owner Handler!

Months later, returning for his very first show back after recovery, he came back for redemption 💪✨—welcoming a new year and earning his AKC Championship! 🏆🎉

I could not be more proud of this dog and everything he has endured and accomplished ❤️🐾. Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way.

Now it’s time for his brother- Hiccup, and sisters- Eos & Maggie to step into the ring and strut their stuff! 🔥🐕‍🦺✨

PS: Thank you, Jakob, for taking Hiccup, an 8-month-old puppy 🐶, into the ring—even though you had never shown before and stepped into the ring for the very first time.
Despite being yelled at by others about how to show, you did exactly what I needed: you ran with him and handled the moment perfectly 🙌💙.

Andarna had a great day at Dog Sports Unlimited in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, hosted by the German Shepherd Dog Club of North Florida.

She earned two new titles and is now officially:

CH Magical Creature’s Golden Scales Sharp Teeth CGC FDC

She also picked up two qualifying Fast Cat runs, clocking speeds of 18.5 mph and 19.5 mph in the 100-yard dash. In her two fun runs, she proved she’s a natural, hitting 17 mph on both of her first attempts.

The 2025 AKC Nationals at Royal Canin in Orlando, Florida is officially a wrap.

On Friday, Andarna went Best of Winners for a 4-point major, finishing her AKC Championship. Today, she stepped back into the ring as a Special.

She was hyped, wild, and very much herself. At 12 months old, she showed exactly what she is right now, a bold, busy little fawn monster with zero off switch. We did not place today, but I could not be prouder of her. This marked her 17th show in a row, all within a single month, which is a lot to ask of a young dog.

This girl is absolutely going to a performance sport next year.

As exhausting as it was, I am grateful to have attended Royal Canin for the second year in a row. Closing out 2025 with trips to both Westminster and Royal Canin is something I am incredibly proud of, and an understatement does not even begin to cover it.

A huge thank you to Ashley Wilkerson for handling and caring for Andarna. Anyone who knows her knows she is wild in the best way. Everything is a game, and every person is a new friend. Ashley and Ronnie handled her antics beautifully and showcased her exactly as she is.

Andarna began her show career just one month ago, on November 12th in Ocala. I’m incredibly proud of how far she’s come in such a short time.

I am looking forward to showing her myself as a Special at AKC Nationals- Royal Canin this Sunday.

The puppies turned 4 weeks old today, and they are right on track with both their development and their Puppy Culture curriculum. Here is your weekly update on how they are growing and what was completed today.

4-Week Milestones

This week marks the transition from newborn-style behavior to active learning and social development. A few important changes happening now:

They are walking with much better balance and even attempting small bursts of running.

Play is becoming more intentional. You’ll see pawing, mouthing, playful growls, and early social interactions.

Their vision and hearing are stronger, so they are reacting quickly to voices, movement, and household sounds.

Tiny hints of personality are starting to show, though nothing is determined this early.

Their potty habits continue to improve as they naturally move away from their bedding to relieve themselves.

Puppy Culture Work

This week included several key steps from the Puppy Culture program:

Sound introduction and desensitization: Gentle exposure to household noises, music, and curated puppy sound tracks to build noise confidence.

Touch desensitization: Daily handling that includes paws, ears, body, and light restraint to help them accept grooming and vet care with confidence.

Confidence-building activities: Small obstacles, new textures, and new objects are being introduced to encourage curiosity and resilience.

Environment Upgrade

The puppies were moved into a larger whelping and play area, giving them more room to explore, practice moving, and develop social skills.

We also began litter box training, which plays a big role in cleaner habits now and easier house training later. They’re already catching on quickly.

Health Updates (Completed Today, Dec 5th)

Today was a routine health care day:

The puppies were dewormed for the second time.

They received their first NeoPar (Parvo) vaccine.

Everyone is progressing beautifully with weight gain and activity levels.

First Puppy Mush

To celebrate turning one month old, the puppies had their first taste of puppy mush today. They’ll continue a slow, balanced transition between nursing and solid food over the next few weeks.

Final Call for Impact Crate Orders

If you want an Impact Crate ready here at pick-up, this is last call to place your order to ensure it will arrive on time. My breeder pricing helps reduce cost, but crates still typically range $900–$1500, depending on size and model.

Impact Crates must be paid in full before I place the order, as this is separate from the puppy purchase.
My most recent order took about three weeks to arrive, and holiday delays have already started.

Looking Ahead

Over the next few weeks, their structure, confidence, and temperament will continue to develop quickly. Puppy selections will be made at 7–8 weeks old once evaluations can be done accurately.
