For the eighth year running, the FASH Spring Horse Show has chosen This Old Horse as their charity partner.

Their show committee chooses a nominated horse that has retired from the show ring and we honor it during the Saturday night opening ceremonies with an award we call "See What This Old Horse Can Do."

The FASH crowds are always enthusiastic but the crowd goes wild when 'our' horse enters the coliseum for the victory pass. It is emotional and thrilling to witness the reverence they have for their beloved retirees.

This year's honoree is the 29-year-old American Saddlebred CH Highpoint's Supreme Thunder from Manahan Stables LLC.

They call him Scooby. And he is magnificent.

Congratulations Scooby and all those who adore him. Tonight the spotlight is on you--again.

This is a wonderful tribute to Nosey Rosey! What a great community of horse lovers! A special "Thank You" to all those who shared and donated.

We want to send a HUGE Thank You out to the Linker Family. This week we received a check for $22,000 which was the proceeds of the GoFundMe page that they started as a way to honor the life of their beloved horse Nosey Rosey. We are so appreciative of everyone who donated not only in memory of Nosey Rosey, but to allow her memory to live on through all the horses' lives that will be saved through this donation. ❤ We hope someday to welcome the Linkers out to the farm so we can thank them in person!

Thank you Brendan Heintz for this beautifully written post that shares what many are feeling.

This is so sad. Our thoughts and prayers for all his loved ones.

Weezee once shared touching wisdom after a tragic loss. She mentioned that God could have taken anyone of your horses or your family. He chose that one because up in heaven there’s a little girl who needed him more than you. You can go on knowing that and think of all the lessons learned - what was important to him and practice that in his honor until you meet again. So as the snow melts and we enter horse show season - the smiles we share are a great tribute to him and the kindness he showed all of us.
