Just a day in the life of Smudge.
We hope everyone is enjoying watching the snow as much as Smudge! Stay warm!
Someoneâs been sleeping on the job!
(Play with sound on to hear Smudgeâs cute little snores)
Wolfe came to our office with a persistent cough. While our traditional x-ray machine was able to give us some information we still werenât clearly able to see what was going on with his trachea.
Using our CT Scannerâs Fluoroscopy feature we were able to get a clearer image of how Wolfieâs trachea responds while he is breathing. Fluoroscopy provides a live moving image enabling us to view the motions of the patient as they happen.
Can you make out where Wolfieâs trachea compresses?
Some days are full of surprises! Havana arrived to our office today in distress and was rushed into surgery for an emergency cesarean. She is doing well and went home with her 3 kittens.
Smudge is hard at work today!

Ever wonder what we do in the back when we step out of the exam room? In this case we were looking under the microscope to identify a canine specific louse, aka lice.
