The desire to create a club for women was born from a belief held by Founder and President, Sharon “Angel” Greene, that a “Special Sisterhood” exists between all women that ride. Asphalt Angels MC has the sisterhood of open road on two wheels. It is our mission to raise awareness of the passion, diversity and spirit of women in motorcycling. We are animal lovers and have a strong bond with all our
four legged friends. We each have a strong determination to find forever homes for the pets out there in shelters. We also desire to stop animal cruelty in any way we can. We also support local organizations and causes and help raise funds for such causes. We ride with trust and respect that is earned by our individual actions. It lives in our heart and in our blood, and we will pass it on for generations to come. Although we are all different, we share one common bond: It takes a “rare” breed of woman to throw her leg over a motorcycle and truly appreciate the freedom it provides. Once your leg is over that bike, and it’s roaring down the road, your spirit is transformed. You can leave all of your earthly concerns behind and be lifted above whatever is ailing you. For those brief periods of time, you can spread your wings and fly. The Asphalt Angels Motorcycle Club or Asphalt Angels MC, became an official club on May 5th, 2013. Officially based in Saint George, Utah. Together we ride in support of other clubs and their charities. We have adopted and support several local charities of our own and host functions that specifically raise cash and services to address their needs. We volunteer our times as well as our resources to help others in need. We are dedicated to our families, our sisterhood, our motorcycle club, and our riding. We are proud to represent a woman’s motorcycle club that can make a difference in the public’s view of all bikers and motorcycle clubs. The hard looks don’t bother us because by the time we leave, we have made friends, shared laughs, and definitely changed minds about who and what we are. It’s because we are Asphalt Angels, we have chosen to set the bar higher.
