The Shelter will be closed Monday November 11th in observance of Veterans Day.
To our veterans, we would like to thank you for your service. Veteran's day is a day we celebrate but make no mistake every day we are grateful to all of you for the service you have given our country. Guardians at the gate so we may sleep soundly.

Howl- O-Ween Adoption event

Howl-O-Ween Adoption event. Come treat yourself to a friendship that will last a lifetime and adopt a canine buddy. Adoption of all dogs will be reduced to $20. We are a city-owned and city-operated animal shelter in St. George, Utah. The mission of the St. George Animal Shelter is to provide a safe, clean environment to humanely oversee the care and custody of seized, stray, homeless, quarantined, abandoned or unwanted domestic animals. The Shelter belongs to all citizens, and as such we will strive always to encourage responsible pet ownership by spaying, neutering, vaccinating, licensing, and by providing education in appropriate care and environments for their pets.
