Muddy Paws Dog Boarding and Obedience School Muddy Paws Dog Boarding and Obedience School is a veteran owned and operated dog boarding and training business.

April started her career with dogs in 2004 when she became a Military Working Dog Handler in the US Air Force. She was part of the elite Presidential K9 Team at Andrews Air Force Base. There she provided security for the President, Vice President, and First Lady, among many other foreign heads of state. She continued her military career as a K9 handler in South Korea and Alaska with a deployment t

o Afghanistan. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Business administration in 2016 and is currently enrolled in the Dog Obedience Trainer course with Animal Behavior College. April has been doing in home boarding with Rover. com since 2014 and trained dogs for the Department of Defense to become future Military Working Dogs.

🚨2025 CLOSED DATES 🚨

We’d like to take a moment to thank all of our loyal paw-rents for trusting us to take care of your fur-babies while you’re away. To assist with planning your 2025 trips, here is a list of dates we will be unavailable to care for your pups.

1. JAN 5TH THROUGH JUN 27TH
***Our reopen date will depend on April’s recovery from her shoulder surgery. We are hoping to be reopened for the 4th of July! Continue to follow us for a more accurate reopen date as it gets closer.

2. SEP 9TH THROUGH SEP 22ND

3. NOV 7TH THROUGH NOV 17TH

If you need a referral for another boarding facility or dog trainer please text us at 210-834-1686 with your needs and we will do our best to provide an alternative recommendation.

Halloween Safety Tips 👇🏻 🤔 Did you know that Halloween is the 2nd most common holiday for missing pets??
