New greenhouse is here! Pouring concrete footers this week and then construction begins! We'll have tons of fresh produce this fall for our farm grocery store!
New addition to the farm: Red Wattle pigs! The breed originated in east Texas and is a great quality pork! They'll help us remove the Bermuda grass for our expansion this summer and supply meat for our grocery store in the fall!

Its a cold, wet day washing vegetables at the farm, but we're warm inside with excitement to be back @pearlfarmersmarket tomorrow for the first market of the New Year!
Our teenage turkeys are getting settled into their new pasture for the winter. The baby turkeys are almost big enough to have their doors open 24/7. Even though our Akbash guardian pup, Oso, is always on the alert, we still have to be cautious of aerial predators when they're small.
From here, we will leap frog these electric fences every week allowing the turkeys to get their fill of new grasses and bugs, while our pecan orchard gets lots of fertilizer for spring!
