UPDATE: Toby and Rosie have found a wonderful new home. They remain together, as well! ❤️
Due to life circumstances, one of my customers needs to rehome her two beautiful and loving Bengals. They have enjoyed a most loving home with her. Contact info for my customer at the end of the post. This is what she writes.
"Looking for a permanent home for my two bengals Toby and Rosie. Please let me know if interested.
Toby: 5 year old male - brown rosetted Bengal
Rosie: 4 year old female - seal lynx point rosetted Bengal
$250 adoption fee per cat to attract serious buyers only. Hoping they can stay together.
Bengals require lots of love, attention, exersice.
Preferably no other pets or small children in home.
Personality description:
Both cats are very sweet, loving, affectionate, and playful. They’re not lap cats per say, but still love to snuggle a lot and both purr when they get loved on. They both like water a lot so they may try to follow you in the shower sometimes.
Rosie is more outgoing and playful, she definitely thrives on play time. She loves catnip, drinking water out of the shower faucet, and snuggles me while I nap on the couch. She loves her brother, follows him around, and copies everything he does.
Toby is a little more reserved and sensitive. He thrives on snuggles, and wants to feel all the love. He wants to be picked up and pet often. He also has a wild side and wants to run around the place a lot. He loves kitty beef jerky and any other treats he can get his paws on.
Bengals in general are very active, vocal, smart, coachable, and need exercise during the day so they sleep at night. When they want something, they are not afraid to ask for it.
I trained them to sleep at night by not allowing them to lounge too much during the day. As long as they get some play time and don’t sleep all day long, they end up sleeping at night. They do well with routines. I normally have a night time routine like giving them their favorite snack, catnip, I crack a window, and then I shut my bedroom door and they know it’s bed time and I won’t come out till the morning.
