And we can't forget sweet Oreo! He is doing amazing and quickly catching up to his littermates! He still goes everywhere with me to ensure he continues to thrive. He has grown in a soft airline carrier which makes travel much easier ❤️

The puppies are growing! Everyone's eyes are opening and they are getting the hang of walking around a bit ❤️ This stage is my absolute favorite as they wobble about and start letting out little barks here and there 🥰

So here is the story on the smallest guy in our current litter; Oreo. All pups started out strong but on day 3 this guy was off to the side in the whelping box alone. He was chilled and weak. I quickly did all I could to save him. Once he was warmed I spent almost the whole night trying to pull off a miracle. The first few days were touch and go but by day 4 of nursing him along he started getting stronger and his weigh started slowly increasing. We were able to graduate from a dropper for feedings to a bottle! Now he drinks from the bottle like a champ and he is gaining good weight daily. His eyes opened today and let me tell you, I've never been so excited to see a puppy peep open his eyes! He was only a couple of days behind his littermates whom started opening their eyes this past Friday and over the weekend.
Since he gained some strength and improving I have continued to put him in with mama and she accepts him each time and allows him to eat but I have to put some of his littermates in a basket near by to allow him to eat without getting pushed out. They are much bigger than him and he is easily pushed away from the dinner buffet.
As a result of not being able to hold his own against his brothers and sisters he goes to work with me each day with supplies in hand. Raising him has been a round the clock task but it has been worth it in seeing him thrive ❤️
He will not be posted available for the time being as I want to ensure he continues to thrive and all is well but I will keep you all posted along his journey.
