REVIEW:

I wanted to take a moment and let you know how truly wonderful our last pet sitter was, Dana Meyer. She just took care of our fur babies on our last trip, and I feel like she really went above and beyond! She was amazing last year when she helped us and I regret not recognizing her then! Through her daily messages and photos I can tell she really is making sure they are thriving while I’m gone. She even went as far as taking out the cat litter trash from my home, putting it in my garbage bin, and taking the bin to the curb when she saw it was trash day, as well as sweeping up the cat litter that made its way to the floor. I did not ask her to do this yet she did it and I was so appreciative for that gesture! I didn’t even realize we were missing trash day but Dana made sure we were taken care of. I haven’t even met her, yet somehow she makes me feel so comfortable having her in our home and taking care my cats and now hamster while we are away. So blessed for Dana, thank you!

Spaying our cats and dogs is an essential part of responsible care for so many reasons, but here are the top three:

🐾 HEALTH: Spaying reduces the risk of breast cancer, and eliminates the risk of uterine and ovarian cancers. It also eliminates the risk of pyometra, a deadly uterine infection that impacts many unsterilized female dogs and cats.

🐾 LONGEVITY: One study found that spayed dogs live 23% longer than dogs who had not been spayed, and spayed cats live a whopping 39% longer than unsterilized cats. We all want more time with our animal friends, so this is a no-brainer!

🐾 SAVING LIVES: Spaying prevents puppies and kittens from being born, which is so important especially if you live in a country like the US, where hundreds of thousands of dogs and cats are losing their lives in shelters every year. It’s bonkers to let a cat or dog breed while so many shelter animals die!

Welcome to the page for Paws and Claws Pet Sitting!! We opened in July of 2007.

August of 2023 our page was hacked and we were unable to recover it despite months of messaging and attempts made to Facebook(Meta) support.

So we are having to start over so please help us spread the word by sharing our page!!
