Cherokeewind Australian Shepherd Kennels Cherokeewind Australian Shepherds Our kennel is retired now. Our Aussies are family. They stay with us until their last days. We love our dogs.

Our Aussies were involved in many areas like Conformation, Rally, Agility, Herding, Treibball, and we do a lot of hiking and camping with our dogs. They give us their best in their younger years and we give them our best for a comfortable retirement. They live in our home and are involved in everything.

I didn't think an animal welfare courtesy post would attract so many nasty bunyaky. WARNING: troublemakers will be Blocked. Period. I am not obligated to free speech doctrine, and nastiness is not protected, anyway.

Lots of comments, "Why is this allowed?"
1. Because is market for it.
2. Because xylitol is used by companies that do cruel animal testing.

Ingredients are forced into animals until half of test population di*s. Then data for human safety is extrapolated. THEY DO NOT CARE IF THEY HURT YOUR PET. They torture and k(ll animals daily, to limit their legal liability when their toxins give YOU cancer. I studied and witnessed animal testing in Animal Sciences. Look up "LD50 tests." They have no conscience, and only want your money. IF you could afford to take corporation to court, and IF you won, they would only be liable for the cost of replacing your pet.

Willow and Storm, as soon as they step out of the house.

Fall fun.

Every morning, playtime!

After her walk, I often play frisbee with Willow! It's her favorite!

Frisbee is a great way to exercise your Aussie.

Koko must feel really good today. On our walk she ran thru all the trails a couple of times and then ran up to the house to wait for us. When we come back to the house she checks on the other dogs and then runs somemore.

Every morning these two do this. Storm lays on his back and Willow tears him up and he loves it.

Kokos morning ritual. She runs out the back gate, turns and runs back, then runs around the deck a few times, greeting the other dogs. She is 15 in a couple months so how does she even do that.

Oh Kokopelli. Almost 15 and still not slowing down

This girl! Our Dancing Kokopelli Will be 15 years and still loves her walks.

Oh Koko. You never act your age. This year she will be 15.

The lake was all iced over too. The geese kept flying over trying to find water to land on.
