🐾 Now entering 2024 our clients will be seeing price changes ⚠️

It is our belief that that all our clients deserve high end products that are tailored to their individual needs. This is why we do not separate our services into packages that we can upsell you. Every dog receives nail grinding, high end shampoos and conditioners, nose and paw balms, perfumes, ect.

Prices will be determined by coat condtion, size, and any dematting that needs to be done. If you have any questions about the price for your pet please contact your groomer. We’d like to say thank you to all our clients for their continued support!

St. Joe grooming grooms each pet with their best interest in mind. Your pet, their grooming needs, and there personality is entirely unique. It is our job to not only give you as the pet parent a grooming experience where your concerns, questions, and wants are discussed and catered too, but also to take the time to really connect with your pet and make sure their individual needs are met.

We do this by first assessing your pets skin and coat and hand choosing high end products that are designed to address the many different coat varieties and needs each pet has.

We then take the proper time with each pet to make sure they are comfortable with the grooming process and not stressed by the service we are performing. This means we have to connect with you pet. This connection is made by making sure the grooming process is as fun and rewarding for them as it can be. Your pet is not rushed through the groom but talked to, comforted and and reassured if they are nervous. Our grooms are only as good as our ability to ensure your pets comfort through the process.

Consistent nail maintenance isn’t simply cosmetic. In some cases, nails can cause pain and trigger irreversible damage to the animal.

When people think of the damage a pet’s nails can cause, most consider scratches on hardwood floors, carpet snags, and claw marks on furniture. However, long nails create potential issues for animals — a splayed foot, reduced traction, deformed feet, and even injured tendons over time. As long nails hit the ground, it puts force on the foot and leg structure. This force can potentially lead to arthritis and ongoing pain.

The growth pattern of a dog’s nails forms a curved shape. If left untrimmed, the claws will eventually curve under the dog’s paws and dig into the skin, creating pain when they walk.
