Like many of you know on Saturday August 17th we went to Schaumburg to attend the All American Grooming Show. We’ve been really busy with work so we haven’t had the time to post about everything we learned.

Our first session was - From Pet Groomer To Enrichment Stylist by Samantha Palya. During this class we learned all the ways you can create a calm, stress free environment for pets during grooming using enrichment tools. We learned how to read all the signs of a dogs and cats body language and how our own body language or attitude can affect the pets in our care. Samantha explained different safety tips for when we’re working with aggressive, scared, puppies and older dogs. Most importantly how to create a wonderful grooming experience mentally, emotionally, and physically for every pet.

The second session was - The Big And Beautiful Standard Poodle by Adriane Pope. In this class we learned whatever trim the clients choose it should be elegant and well balanced. She taught how to achieve the perfect topknot, how to groom difficult feet,time saving tips, and everyday pet trims.

The third session was - Add To Your Bottom Line With Add On’s by Elli Bultemeier. In this class we learned how to implement add ons such as services and products. How to do marketing and monthly promo along with correct way to set prices.
This class inspired us a lot and with everything we learned we will be announcing a couple surprises soon especially with the upcoming holiday season!!

During the trade show we got a lot of new products to try and of course we stocked back up on our favorite products we use everyday!

We had such a great time and we can’t wait to go again next year! We look forward to learning more and continue growing in our career!

Happy National Dog Day to not only our girls Scarlett and Stella but to all of our clients dogs who have become apart of our family! 💕
