Join the Licking Park District and the Granville Fishing Club for a Special Youth Fishing Day Event at Infirmary Mound Park!
Saturday April 13, 10am-1pm

This event follows an ODNR Rainbow Trout release earlier in the day. We are giving the kids the first go at them!
ONLY rainbow trout may be harvested from Mirror Lake. All other species are Catch & Release. Five trout max per day, per person harvest limit.

WHAT: Learn knot tying, rigging, casting, fish identification, proper fish handling and habitat from the Granville Fishing Club. Bring your fishing pole, bait & bucket or cooler filled with ice. Enjoy a hot dog lunch between casts and be prepared to have a great time. No experience is necessary. Some poles will be available for use on a first come-first served basis.

WHEN: Saturday, April 13 (10:00 AM - 1:00 PM)
*We kindly request that adults not fish until after 1:00 PM.

If you love bird watching, you don't want to miss this hand-painted display at the Ohio Division of Wildlife Magee Marsh Visitors Center!

Juvenile bald eagles can take 4-5 years to develop their iconic coloring so it can be hard to ID them 🦅 Hopefully, this hand-painted display makes it a little easier!

Sunrise Cooperative, an agricultural and energy cooperative with more than 20 locations in Ohio, is seeking FFA members to join their team after graduation! High school seniors and active FFA members who are interested in joining the workforce immediately after graduation are encouraged to apply for the RISE FFA Career Program. Multiple full-time employment opportunities are available.

The positions, accompanied by employee benefits packages, will explore all aspects of the cooperative. Think of this like getting paid while gaining valuable hands-on work experience and agricultural knowledge!

It is bitter sweet. We are not going to be open for pumpkin sales and activities this fall. We have been blessed with other opportunities to grow the farm. We are focusing on expanding the sale of our farm raised beef.
