The Barker Shop Grooming and Boarding, LLC A 2300 Square foot indoor facility and one acre property for all of your grooming and boarding needs Marys Veterinary Clinic where I had worked for 7 years.

I started my grooming career in San Diego, CA at Petsmart as a Professional Bather in 2005-2006, and helped a friend in her private San Diego based shop. After making different career moves, I came back to grooming and completed my schooling, and completed all of my practical hours by two Nash Academy Graduates. I worked in a pet boutique for a year, and chose to move to St. I reside in St. Marys

with my husband, Nick Uhlenhake, our 3 boys, Cole, Nolan, Brice, and our daughter, Reese, our Chihuahua Sampson, our Boxador, Bonnie and our Pitbull, Clyde. I've always grown up with pets, and love every animal, large or small. I've helped with rescues, and boarding. I love doing what I do each and everyday, and would love to make your pet beautiful!

Well, we tried! 🤣 the dogs were more excited that kids were there than the toy picking. Other than Nash, he tried to get as many in his mouth as he could!

We’re narrowing it down, only two grooming days left (tomorrow and Monday) until Christmas!!! We see the light at the end of the tunnel!!! 🌟

We have a few openings for boarding yet for any of your holiday plans, (and there may be a special surprise for our boarders over the holidays🎄🥂) 😉

We ALREADY have clients booking for next Christmas with their grooming appointments, so don’t be one that doesn’t have an appointment for next year!!

🎅🏻 ‼️ We are closing at NOON ON TUESDAY, CHRISTMAS EVE. This is the whole facility, so daycare, grooming and boarding drop offs and pick ups must be in or out of our facility by then or you’re pet will be staying with us until THURSDAY normal business hours.

🦃 🎅🏻 Tomorrow continues our Holiday crazy season. I just counted and thus far, we have very close to 500 dogs coming into our facility up until New Years Eve. This isn't counting the daycare that come in daily and possible boarding reservations that will still come in through the next few weeks. With this said, PLEASE understand that if you call or text, and we don't answer, or take a little extra time to get back to you please just leave a voicemail and we WILL call or text you back. Or if we get behind schedule, DO NOT just show up expecting your pet to be completed, please wait for your call or text before you return. We will not be able to guarantee an exact time that your pet will be completed and the more phone calls and texts we receive asking if your pet is done, only adds more time to what needs done. I promise you we are working as fast as we can with still putting out the quality that our clients deserve.

🦃 Our Thanksgiving boarding availability is completely booked but we can add you to a waitlist if you wish.

🎄 🥂 Christmas is getting quite full and New Years have been rolling in for boarding reservations as well. So don't forget to book before we are full for these as well!
