As surprised as I am that Nuka (fka Dew) wasn’t chosen right away, I believe that there must have been a reason that Nuka was the last one remaining after all of her siblings had found homes. After announcing HTP’s breeding pause, I truly didn’t think I would be adding another dog to my program for a couple more years but by the grace of God, Nuka’s new family had reached out and wanted to be her Guardian Home. It just clicked then, Nuka was meant to be with her new Guardian Family and meant to be a future mama for us in the future.

Nuka has all of the qualities that I look for in a breeding female in terms of structure, temperament, health, looks, and genetics. Not only does she have a sweet mild human focused temperament, she is also amazingly beautiful and come from my foundation lines whom I have heath tested and carefully chosen to be part of my program.

She will pass on these qualities to future puppies and I pray that they will bring their human families the joy that my Pomskies have given me and to all of the HTP puppy owners. 💕

Her Guardian named her Nuka after the character from Sweet Tooth. What a fitting name!

Dew drop has found her forever home! And that’s a wrap!!! Dew is the last puppy that we will be having for a while, but that’s not the end of our program… we will be posting pupdates on our break as well as updates of our parent dogs. Stay tuned for some amazing news!! 🥰

What is the most important command that you can teach your puppy? It’s Recall.

This command can mean life or death in a dire situation when your puppy has run off distracted. Lucky for our puppy owners we already teach Recall from when they were 4 weeks old!

The best way to solidify recall is to ALWAYS have a treat in hand when they come back. It needs to be reinforced consistently or else they begin to ignore your commands.

Our puppies are GREAT with recall. If they forget, we just reinforce again with treats and love and consistency! 💕 Imagine bringing home a puppy who already knows recall? We have them right here at Hill Tribe Pomskies! 🥰

Goji has found his furever home!!!! Congratulations to the Neubauer family!! Goji is keeping his name and will also have have 3 fur siblings (1 dog and 2 cats) and 2 human siblings! He’ll be staying close by the Twin Cities. 🥹🎊🎉🎈

Another shocking update! Mr Goji is also still here with us! Charting 15-20lbs, he’s going to be a bigger version of his dad Rocky! They literally have the same face and ears! Bonus, Goji is going to be wooly like his dad!!

He is mild tempered, food motivated, a little independent, very confident! 💕

Wow, no one is as shocked as I am. This little girl is still here!!! 🤯 11 weeks old now at 5lbs.

I would love for her to go to another program! She’s short, stocky, charting to be a mini 10-15lbs, wooly, AND great temperament, mellow, human focused, food motivated, great with other dogs, a little tender hearted.

BONUS: she’s EE, dd, dupdup Health Clear and her sire has AMAZING OFA results!

We did a quick photoshoot today and she was so easy! 🥰

We were playing outside when it started raining. So to the dog room it is! Ms Fae teaching Goji a little discipline lol she really misses her puppies and is a great babysitter. 💕

Goji is the puppy I forget about the most! In the puppy world, this means this is the kind of dog you’d want to take home because he’s mild tempered. Albeit he has his husky tendency to look at you and continue to do his own thing but he’s such a great puppy! 💕

Our little Dew drop feeling too tired to entertain me 🤣 I’m shocked she is still here! She has such a sweet temperament, more quiet, does not make a lot of noise, human focused, AND food motivated! She’s going to be a dream for someone. 🥺

Little Dew drop has her bags packed! She loves hiding in little places and defends her territory 🤣 she does well in car rides and has a calm temperament. She’s perfect for apartment living or a house with a yard 🥰
