Miss Scarlett is a curious and affectionate feline who knows what she wants. Even though she adores snuggling up with her hoomans and craves being the center of attention, she can also be independent. Congrats to our 11 new graduates who found homes this past week! 🎓🎉 Morris, Stripe, Comet, Berkley, Noah, Garum, Mushu, Cassoulet, Furrari (AKA Benito), Oats, & Montel Chumley!

Furrari was reunited with his family and his name is actually Benito! Comet lost 5 lbs from when he first came to us before his adoption and is now 24 lbs! We recommend to avoid free feeding cats to prevent cat obesity and diseases related to obesity such as diabetes, arthritis, and heart disease. Scheduled and measured feeding schedules (such as 1/4 cup dry food and 1/4 can wet food twice daily) are best for maintaining healthy weights.

Volunteer to become a foster parent to cats like Cyrus (Cyrus is special needs and extra care is needed). You can help us take care of a cat at home while Feline Rescue covers all approved veterinary costs and will provide food, litter, and other supplies as needed.

At the shelter we could give more care to kitties if foster volunteers are able to help with shy kitties that prefer home life, recovering from surgeries, pregnant, and medication needs.

Milton Allegro is an incredibly sweet boy who loves making biscuits, chasing toys, and snuggling up. When he's not busy doing one of these things, he can usually be found lounging on the window canopy watching birds.

Milton loves hunting and stalking his prey (colorful balls or dry kibble) and will take his time, waiting for the right moment to strike! Playtime and after eating is when he has the most energy. When he gets the zoomies, he'll dive through tubes and launch himself across the room. His favorite toys are ribbon and feather wands and will usually play until his foster mom gets too tired. Milton's a very curious boy who wants to explore and especially loves high places where he can get a good view. When he's had enough pets or needs space, he may communicate by licking or gently putting his teeth on the skin.

Milton is very welcoming and loves meeting new people. He shows affection immediately but will love you even more if you have a treat. He is food-motivated, which has been helpful in clicker training! Milton responds very well to his name and other commands! If you're looking for a goofy lap cat who loves to play, chat, and snuggle, Mr. Milton is right for you!

Hi! My name is Happy Blanche. I am a 9-year-old black and white diva with a neurologic abnormality in my brain. We don't know what is causing my neurologic abnormality, but it could unfortunately be a brain tumor or brain damage from a stroke. My condition causes me to be partially blind, unable to jump, have partial seizures sometimes and makes it difficult for me to groom myself. I take daily medication to try to help with this. I do need help with grooming and need baths a few times a week. I have a lot of love to give though and am an excellent cuddler when I am sleepy! I don't scratch or bite my foster dad, even when being given a bath!

It takes me a while to adjust to new spaces, and I am scared of new, loud sounds at first. Dogs have been okay as long as they give me some space. When I first arrived at my foster home, I didn't use the litter box at all. Now, I use it about 90% of the time! It turns out that I prefer a flat pan. I occasionally have trouble keeping my feet clean, finding my food bowl, grooming my coat, and getting back to my favorite place- my blue hut! That's where you come in.

I am a very sweet kitty. I want to walk around with my humans and know where they are. Walking between feet is my favorite! I also enjoy batting around my little toys. I have a lot of energy, I love to lounge around with my human. While we are unsure of my exact prognosis and how much time I have left, I hope to be an excellent companion for quite a while yet.

If you're looking to adopt two literal angels, then look no further. Reginald and Shalleigh are a pair of bonded senior boys who have so much love to give. They love to be kissed and hugged. They love to cuddle with each other and with you. They even like to cuddle with each other while on your lap! They will follow you around the house and keep you company during any activity. They will greet you when you come home and be sure to greet any visitors you have with a warm welcome. I can't express enough how affectionate and adorable these two are.

They're mostly pretty mellow, but they both have certain toys they enjoy playing with for a few minutes a day.

They are very food motivated and will make sure you don't forget when it's mealtime.

Q-Tip and Noelle are bonded and must be adopted together.

Come and meet these 6 year old love bugs. Q-Tip is the Lynx Point Siamese and Noelle is the panther with dark chocolate fur undertones, both with silky coats. Normally Siamese cats are chatty, but Q-Tip has delegated Noelle to be her communications director. Q-Tip is quiet, except for when she is anticipating a pinch of catnip a couple of times a week.

Both felines are curious about what is going on and will look out windows to get better views of the wildlife. They are moderately active. What is a meal of wet food without zoomies afterwards? Q-Tip loves chasing after spring toys, so be prepared to fish them out from under the fridge and the stove for her to rehide. She also carries stuffed mice in her mouth. Noelle, on the other hand, does acrobatics with feathers on the end of a fishing pole. She is inventive in what she chooses to play with. One time she pushed an avocado off of the counter to play with. They both take turns in sleeping in the bed at night. Often they will be found sleeping together, side by side, but at times, they will go off for some alone time. They have been a delight to foster.

Casper Wiley is a cat with a heart-shaped nose that contains multitudes. He can be very playful and enjoys playing with a variety of toys. He is a big fan of wand and ribbon toys, enjoys toys that he can swat around and chase after, and will even play by rolling and kicking around the poles of a cat tree. He also enjoys quieter activities such as window watching, especially if he can sunbathe under a sunny spot. Having alone time is important to him as well, whether it be on a perch high off the ground or a cozy spot in the closet.

Casper is fond of the resident cat and having her there has helped him with opening up to his foster. Unfortunately, his affections have been unrequited despite his efforts.

Casper is shy and will appreciate being in a quiet environment. Despite his shyness, he is beginning to realize that he enjoys pets, especially neck scratches and light butt pats. You will need to be patient with Casper but he will bring you lots of laughter with his antics and seeing him slowly come out of his shell as he learns to trust you will be extremely rewarding.

Stitch is a very loving 4-year-old male cat after he gets to know you and any new surroundings. Stitch did not have the easiest start of his life, having to spend much unnecessary time on his own and is not fond of confined spaces. As with declawed cats, he was rescued without his protective gear which makes this luscious black beauty, more sensitive and feelers of silent pains no one but them can understand.

He may be a little cautious around new people, so he appreciates a patient and understanding adopter who can give him the space and time he needs to feel comfortable and to transition to a new home. His future mom/dad need to be committed, pay attention to details, and seek to enjoy the journey, not the destination.

Stitch will walk onto his full life, once he is able to feel safe, acknowledged and able to roam his future home, without any visible "threats." He will then know, it is time for "biscuits" and the wonders of play hunt and couch lounging.

Bluebird, the adorable feline, should be known as the play master. This playful feline just can't get enough of playtime and will eagerly beckon you to join in the fun. He has an insatiable appetite for chasing wand toys, engaging in thrilling games of hide and seek, and even pouncing on his own brush rather than enduring a boring brushing session. Not only does he love to unleash his playful side, but he is also incredibly affectionate and cuddly, often flopping over with delight, kneading the air and purring contently.
